{Alright minna,last chapter! It's going to be a little long}

Levy P.O.V

I stared wide eyed, almost afraid to breath. Was he serious? I could see again? "Really?" I tried to sit up but a hand pushed me down. "Yes. It's a bit risky, but it is possible. We will need to wait for you to recover some more before the operation." Talli said.

I nodded, still in shock. He left to give me and Gajeel some time alone. He was quietly stroking the back of my hand with his thumb. "What's the first thing you want to see? After the operation?" He asked quietly.

I smiled a little. "I want to see your face." He snorted. "That's an awful first sight. Pick something nicer. Something pretty." I giggled. "Well when you put it that way. I would like to see the sunrise again." I smiled a I tried to remember all the colors in the sky but it was fuzzy.

He chuckled. "Alright then."

A week of bed rest and lots of boredom followed. Gajeel rarely left my side, sometimes it was to feed Lily, others were when I finally got tired of the man smell an told him to go home and shower.

I was finally able to sit up by myself and was eating on a regular bases. My leg was still numb and unmoving and I was worried if I could ever walk right again.

Talli finally gave me the ok to have my operation done. I was sitting nervously before hand, fiddling with the edge of my blanket."Hey, your gonna be fine. The old man will take good care of you." Gajeel said as he kissed my head. I smiled,"Yeah your right."

It had been about two hours since my dad took Levy for her operation. I quietly paced the small room, millions of things running through my head.

The door opened and my dad rolled her in on her bed. She was fast asleep, her eyes wrapped in bandages. "Everything went smoothly." he said quietly. I smiled.

"Thanks for doing this for her." He shrugged and sat in a chair by the window. "You know I enjoy helping people. It was also an excuse to see my kid again." He grinned as I rolled my eyes.

"She will have to keep her eyes covered for about three days to recover from the surgery. And when she finally wakes up, she may be loopy from the medication ." I nodded.

He got up and walked over to me, patting my shoulder. "You really love her, huh kid?" My face heated up slightly but I smiled. "What gave it away?"

He chuckled. "I used to look at your mom that same way." He smiled sadly. I didn't remember much of my mom except that she was very beautiful and kind.

"I'm gonna grab a bite to eat." He suddenly said, walking out the door. I looked down at Levy and smiled softly.

After about an hour she started to stir. "Good morning sunshine." I said quietly. "Morning." she slurred. Must be the medication. She made a soft humming sound. "What are you doing?" I asked trying not to laugh.

"Just thinking how sad it is." "How sad what is?" I chuckled. "Now that all this," she waved her hands around." is over, you'll be moving back to your house. Lily is going to miss you."

I smiled. "Lily is going to miss me huh?" she nodded. " Just Lily?" She pouted. " I might miss you. I'm debating on it." it took her several tries to say debating and I tried to stifle my laugh. " And what if you do decide to miss me?" "I'll drag your giant ass up to my flat." I chuckled.

"How about we make it easy, and you and Lily move in with me." She blushed bright red. "I like your idea better." I laughed softly. She started to say something else but had fallen back asleep.

I had told Levy about her drugged up talk and she was so flustered. I told her the invitation was still open if she wanted to live with me. She agreed.

I woke up early, it was still dark outside. I smiled and gently shook Levy. "Come on, your going to miss it." She groaned a little but sat up.

I pulled her onto my back and carried her piggyback. I used the elevator to head to the highest floor before using the roof access.

It was still dark but color tinted the sky. "Ready?" I asked her. She nodded. I set her gently on her feet, holding her by her waist so she wouldn't fall. I had her hold onto me as I undid her bandages.

"Ready?" he asked. I nodded in excitement. He carefully put me down and I had to hold onto his side to keep from falling. He undid my bandages and removed them.

I blinked in the light. It was so bright after ten years of darkness. Ten years of black and nothingness, coming to an end as the first rays of pink and orange etched across the sky. I stared wide eyed in awe. It was so clear compared to my memories and the beauty was breath taking.

I couldn't stop the tears that over flowed my eyes as I stared at the rising sun.

A rough hand wiping away the tears reminded me of the thing I wanted to see the most. I took a deep breath and turned to him. It was more beautiful than the sun.

His long wild black mane was tied back from his strong tanned face. His crimson eyes bored into mine. His smiled nearly made my heart stop. The piercings on his face only added to his charm. He was so handsome, beautiful and perfect, and he was mine.

"Gajeel." I said softly. He smiled and pulled me close, kissing my forehead. "Thank you for everything." "Anything for you." He pulled my face to his and pressed his lips to mine.
