We All Have Our Masks That We Wear

Josh's POV

Start Song

I run out of the house, screaming and crying. I run and run and run. Farther and father into the woods.

I stumble around trees. I'm sobbing so hard I can barely see. I collapse onto the ground. I let out a strangled cry. I just lay there. Sobbing. No one with me. All alone...

I roll over onto my back and stare at the sky. It's gone dark. The sun has hid behind the angry grey clouds. After a few minutes the sky starts to cry with me. The rain mixes with my tears. I sigh sitting up. Less tears are now falling from my eyes. It starts to pour. 

I get up and look around me. I'm standing in front of the big oak tree. I stumble over to the tree. I sit with my back against the tree's trunk. The big leaves give me a slight protection from the rain. I sigh once more and hold back more tears. My mine drifts off to when we first met. 

His eyes looked so dead and lifeless. After getting to know him they became full of life. Now they are gone...

Tears slide down my cheeks as I sob once more. My pained sounds mix into the rain's patter perfectly. I barry my head in my hands, continuing to sob.

After a while I hear my name being called. 

"Josh?!"

"Where are you Josh?!"

I realize my pack has come out into the pouring rain to find me. I wipe my eyes the best I could but for the most part the rain did the work. I call out a weak, "O-over here", and they come over to me, soaked. A wet Dallon grabs me and pulls me into a big hug. 

I sniff and try to hold my self together. I hate crying in front of my pack. I place my head in his shoulder and let a few silent tears fall.

Dallon rubs my back. "Thank you, I can take it from here," I hear Dallon say. I hear the crunching of the leaves as the pack leaves. 

Dallon lets go of me and grabs my hand. He leads me back to the house like I'm a lost puppy. He squeezes my hand, reassuringly. We tram through the muddy forest, in the rain. 

By the time we get back to the house the rain had stopped. I give him a smol smile as I walk into the house.
