Twilight reversed

Part 9

I had just woke up. I ran down the stairs, and Charlie was sitting there staring at me.
    "What?" I said.
    " Uh, Bella I think we need to have a talk. The talk."
    " Dad, I'm not gonna get pregnant, I don't even have a boyfriend."
     " I can see in your eyes that you might soon."
    " Who would I possibly consider as being my boyfriend."
      " I can see the way you look at Jacob."
   My heart skips a beat. Crap. I didn't think it was that obvious. I mean I'm not that see through am I? Plus why is my dad talking to me about boys?
        I pull up at school. And i remember that we have a field trip today. I look around and I see Edward staring at me from across the parking lot. I give a little wave. He doesn't respond in any way. I look at my phone and then I'm interrupted by the unmistakable sound of skidding tires. I look up and see Tyler's big grey van heading towards me. In my mind I'm screaming at myself to move but every muscle in my body is paralyzed in terror. This is not how I want to die. I close my eyes bracing myself for the impact. But it never comes. I slowly open my eyes and see Edward has stopped the van. With his bare hands. There's a huge dent in the van where his hand was. I have so many questions but the minute I turn to him he picks me up silencing me.
     " Edward, I'm fine. Really."
    He puts me in his car and drives me to the hospital. Apparently his dad works there.
     Charlie strides in looking very concerned.
    " Bella! Are you okay?"
    "I'm fine dad"
Dr.Cullen comes over and examines me. He looks in my ears, shines a to bright light in my eye and says I'm good but I may experience some post traumatic stress. I nod and walk out the door.
     " Dad we're not gonna tell Mom about this are we?"
    " It may be a little to late for that."
He told her. I can't believe he told her. She's probably freaking out right now. I'm about to walk down the hall when hear Edward and Dr.Cullen talking.
   "Edward this isn't about you it involves all of us."
Dr.Cullen points to me and says," we should probably take this somewhere a little more quite." Edward walks over.
   "What do you want?"
     " Fine. If your so annoyed to see me then I'll just leave."
   "Wait."
    "How did you stop the van?"
     " You ask that and yet you hang out with the opposite every day."
  What? What opposite? The only person I hang out with every day is Jacob. What is Jacob the opposite of?
