Hi readers! Sorry I've been focused on OOL because we got to some interesting bits, but I decided I would update this right now. I'm also considering BTR, but it's hard to want to update without that oomph- push. I'll update it soon though! Thank you to all interested in this story! I'm trying something new, if you can tell from my previous works ;) Thanks for the confidence boost NightTerror777 and angeleyesgrn! Gah, it's hard remembering exactly how to write the names out >x< But I try to pay attention-

Why me? Not only have I been stuck in this form for almost a month, but I've been feeling sick the last few days. At first, I had figured that perhaps I shouldn't have eaten that mystery food one of the older teenage girls had given me. I was hungry and it was there. I just didn't realize until it came back up that it was one of her first tries at baking. To say it was a bad experience was taking it mildly.

What the hell had she put in it that it was still affecting me several days later, making me feel even worse! I whined alone in the room, having made my own little cave out of pillows and blankets, not feeling like going anywhere. I was sure that the twins were looking for me by now, but I really didn't care at this point. I didn't care if I got in trouble; I couldn't move even if I wanted to! But I didn't want to... Because I was scared and any movement would just make it worse. I just knew it would. So, I whined softly in my little alcove of softness, hoping that the pain would go away.

Ouch, it hurts! Why does it keep hurting! Its burning from my stomach out; I feel like I'm on fire! -I yelped and whined quietly, my tail tucked tightly against me, Why won't it stop hurting?

Who is this? The voice startled me, causing me to jump slightly, which made me yelp and whine more from the sharp prickling pain.

Ah! No more! No more! I'm sorry! Please make it stop hurting! - I couldn't stop whining and shivering, tears and sweat soaking into my fur.

Puppy?

I twitched, my body becoming heavy, ...You not to call me... That.

Hey! Hey! You stay awake!

I could just barely hear the sounds of movement... Stomping feet. I hardly even flinched this time when a bang sounded right in the room. I hardly paid attention to anything, except when the pain got worse, causing me to yelp and whine, but tried to keep still so the pain would go away. If I stayed more still, the pain would go away. That's what I believed. If I made myself as still as possible, barely daring to breathe... The pain would go away. Go away pain, go away

The jarring movement was cruel. It kept pulling me back as the pain like broken glass shuffled through me, "I know it hurts. Just hold on and I'll take you to the physician."

The pain had awakened me some, but as the pain increased from the movement, it then pulled me under, the sounds now becoming muffled around me. Please stop moving. No more. Please.

The movement ignored me, every hair on my body like a nerve ending. Even the air touching me hurt. How much more of this was enough? Was I being tortured for something I did? Was saving myself really that bad?

I think I passed out, the sound of doors and bustling suddenly pulling me back into the moment as pain exploded even worse. Why?! Why are you doing this to me?!

I yelped and whined as I was shifted onto something else, Please stop touching me. Ah! The pain!

"It's hurting him," Someone said.

"What?" Another voice.

"Just touching or any movement is hurting him," The voice was similar to the one that was in my head.

"You can talk with him now?"

"What does that matter? He's in pain! Do something about that first!" I whined in both agreement and fear. "It's okay little one, it's okay, we'll make you better."

"Alpha, I suggest you command him to sleep," The man didn't seem worried at all, causing the other man to growl.

"What if he's still in pain while asleep? We won't be able to tell!"

"Alpha, I highly doubt that will happen. We've had Alphas from other packs do the same thing without trouble to the lycan."

"I don't fucking care! I want you to give him something to dull the pain, whether or not I put him to sleep!"

I heard the man sigh before the pain became burning and sharp on my front leg, causing me to howl and pant in pain, "...You do?!"

"Alpha... Any touch...I think I know why," My consciousness was floating, the pain finally taking a step away and allowing my body to surf the waves, their voices drifting in and out. "....Shifting."

***

I awoke to being warm, shifting and finding my body aside from my head in water. The horrible pain was only a constant ache, for which I was grateful, "Hey, you awake?"

I shifted, a whine escaping me soon after, "Yeah, just stay still. The water bath is keeping most of the pain at bay."

H-how? Where am I? I worked at opening my eyes, finally succeeding in meeting those of the Alpha. Oh great, what did I do now? He's looking at me- am I in time out? If so, I should stay in trouble, because this is the best I've felt in days.

"You've been feeling sick for the last couple days?" The Alpha guy seemed a little irritated, but I was beyond caring so long as I wasn't in as much pain. "Why didn't you tell anyone? You could well have died!"

I did flinch as that, How was I to know? I thought it was just from something I ate. I didn't expect for it to get like this...

I was getting really tired again, the ache starting to sharpen its talons. I whined, Ah, please no more pain. Hurts...

There was movement, then I sighed, sliding down into a state where I didn't have to feel the pain. Good....No pain...

I made this short because I wanted it to be more thoughtful and lengthening it wouldn't fit with the flow of this part. I'll update again soon ;)
