The twins were led by hagrid as they walked down the streets, within london, as harry had read the required materials aloud.
“ all students must be equipped with,” said harry as he and his twin looked at the list.
“ one standard size pewter cauldron,” said emma looking confused, “ and may bring if they desire-”
“ either an owl,” said harry, “ a cat or toad.”
“ can we find all this in london?” harry asked hagrid as the twins looked at him.
“ if you know where to go,” hagrid smiled at them.
He lead the twins towards a small shop, opening the door, allowing the twins inside first.

‘ a bar?’ emma thought in confusion as she looked at the various people.
The bar had been dimly lit with small candlesticks, as hagrid ushered them, walking behind the twins. Both harry and emma had noticed few people looking at them, whilst emma had seen small creatures, which hid in small dark places looking at them as well. Unlike her twin who can talk to snakes, as she had found out from the zoo, emma had a thing for seeing unordinary things.
“ ah hagrid,” a man smiled, “ the usual i presume?”
“ no thanks tom,” hagrid grinned at the man, “ i am on official hogwarts business.”
“ just helping young harry and emma here,” he patted the twins shoulders, “ buying their school supplies.”

Tom as hagrid had called the man, looked at the twins with wide eyes, his mouth a small gap.
“ bless my soul,” the man breathes as he looked at the twins, “ it’s the potter twins.”
The music surrounding the twins slowly died down, as all eyes had been on them, making emma grab her twins hand nervously.
“ welcome back potters,” says one man as he shook harry’s free hand, “ welcome back.”
“ dores crawford potters,” said a woman as she smiled towards the two, “ i can’t believe i am finally meeting you two at last.”
As the twins were greeted by many people, emma had noticed a man, as he stood before her and harry.
“ harry and emma p-potter,” he stutters as he smiles at them, “ can’t tell you how pleased i am to meet you two.”

“ hello professor!” shouts hagrid with a smile, “ i didn’t see you there.”
“ harry and emma this is professor quirrell,” he looked at the twins, “ he’ll be your defence against the dark arts teacher.”
Both harry and emma turned to the man, as he gave them a sweet timid smile, looking at the man confused.
“ in hogwarts,” said hagrid.
“ oh!” gasped emma embarrassed.
“ nice to meet you,” said harry as he extended his hand.
“ very fascinating subject,” the man smiled at the two, “ n-not that you’d need it anyway potters.”

‘ this man,’ emma had squinted at him, ‘ he’s acting strange.’
“ we should be going now,” said hagrid as he looked around with a small chuckle, “ lots to buy.”
“ goodbye,” the twins chorused to the man.
And like that the three had left, the twins following behind hagrid, as he opened a back door.
“ see that you two?” chuckles hagrid, “ you’re famous!”
“ but why are we famous hagrid?” asked harry when they had been out the door.
“ all those people back there how is it they know who we are?” emma had followed her twins question.

“ not sure i’m exactly the right person to tell you two that.”
Both the potter twins looked at hagrid confused, as they had been faced with a brick wall, while hagrid rose his umbrella to tap at the bricks one by one. The bricks had suddenly began shifting, creaking and cracking, splitting apart slowly to reveal a hidden market.
“ welcome harry and emma,” said hagrid with a smile, “ to diagon alley.”
The twins had looked on in surprise, walking onto the road, of the town called diagon alley. People in pointed hats, or strange robes walked past them, as they followed behind hagrid.
“ here’s where you get your quills and your ink,” hagrid said as he points to a small shop.
