There is a difference between like and love
There is a difference between Him&You
But how can I know which is which
When I don't even know what to doDaydreams of Him; Nightdreams of You
Where are these dreams taking me to?
Spinning around looking for an answer
Taking my time, like a thief or a dancerHe is sweet, with boyish charm
You are careful and could do no harm
He turns right, You turn left
I am left hanging, dangling off a cleftOne day He's nice, one day he's mean
But You're always sweet, and You are always clean
So I stand here waiting at a fork in the road
Wishing and wanting to see which way it flowed.
