Greek mythology in the library
The faces and the words beyond are too scary
Scraped knees and wet cheeks
I feel my hope slowly deplete
Parents were always busy
My head was always spinning
The sadness of having no one to talk to
The dreadful feeling that no one even knew
Seventh grade it got bad
At that point, I felt I had had
Enough of these games
And all of this pain
I just wanted to
End it all. So screw
You and how you made me feel
Because now I know what it is like to kneel
Over a blade, salt in the wound because you know
What you do, and you'll never be forgiven, although
You tried
so many times
You don't
Know how
It hurt
