The Prophecy

Annabeth's POV

Camp Half-Blood

When we got back from the council meeting on Olympus we spread the word to every ally of Olympus. We all thought we would immediately get a reply back.

That was a year ago.

The one thing that has come out of all of this is finding out what happened to Artemis. About a 10 months ago a search party was sent out to find Artemis but instead found a monster. After some... persuasion, the monster told us that Orion had kidnapped Artemis and took her to Tartarus. Long story short, the Giant dunked her in the Lithe River.

Even if we did find her she wouldn't remember us, or herself.

When the gods found out about all of this they were pissed, to say the least. Apollo worse than anyone. Again we went out and searched for Artemis taking a different approach. Again to no avail.

Now I'm headed to The Big House for a camp councilor meeting.

When I walked in I noticed I was the last one to arrive. It's still weird walking in and it is quite. When Percy was here there was never a dull moment, he made everyone smile and laugh.

Percy.

Seaweed Brain.

Gods I miss him.

I can't think about that. I have to put on my game face and be the leader everyone needs.

I look around and see the Seven and smile at them, trying to cheer them and myself up. It doesn't work. Right as I'm about to say something Chiron walks in with Rachel.

"Thank you all for coming. I'm afraid Ms. Dare has spoken another prophecy... About the upcoming war with the remaining Giants." Chiron says with worry thick in his voice.

The room is silent. Everyone knew that there would be another war we just weren't expecting it to be now.

"What's the prophecy?" Jason asks. We all look at Rachael and she starts to glow green with mist and her voice becomes the Oracle of Delphi.

"The Goddess of the moon once lost,

Will be found with a cost.

The son of the sea shall return,

With the many lessons that he's learned.

The gold arrow of the Hunter

Shall end all in the winter.

With the love of the brave,

Olympus can be saved."

With that, the mist goes away and Rachel collapses into Leo's arms leaving everyone with wide eyes. Chiron is the first to say something.

"Get in the Vans. We are going to Olympus to inform the Council of what has taken place." With that, we all leave the Big House with no one else saying a word.

We walked into the council room after hearing the prophecy and see my mom and Hestia talking by the Hearth.

"Annabeth? What are you all doing here?" My mother asks. Before I can say anything Chiron answers.

"Athena we need you to call an emergency Council meeting." With that, my mother shoots a beam into the sky calling the Olympians. Within seconds all 14 Olympians are in the room.
