Percy's POV

Olympus

Silence.

All we got from our family was silence.

I looked over at Artemis squeezed her hand. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. I kissed her forehead then put a hand on her stomach and smiled up at her.

"I knew it!" Aphrodite squealed shaking Drama Queen (aka Zeus)

"YOU DARE GET MY DAUGHTER PREGNANT YOU SEA SPAWN!" Zeus exploded aiming his master bolt in out direction. I immediately moved to be in front of Artemis to protect her and the baby from harm. If he wanted to harm the love of my life and my first born child, he would have to get through me.

Before anyone could say anything 3 immortals flashed into the room: The Fates.

We all bowed before the old ladies.

"Zeus you can't harm them or the child."

"And why is that?" Zeus asked crackling with electricity.

"Because this child is destined to be the hero of their generation like their father."

"What do you mean hero? Don't you mean immortal?" Athena questioned.

"Oh, my," Hera said drawing attention.

"What?" Athena asked eagerly.

"The child isn't immortal because-"

"Because the child was conceived when he was still a demigod." Hestia finished.

I looked at Artemis who was already looking at me with tears in her eyes because the one thing she always wanted to do she could.

She couldn't raise our child.

"You are both correct." One says. "When the child arrives at camp, Perseus shall claim the child."

"Wait why? Would our child already know I'm their father?" I asked with worry.

Then a portal opened up in the middle of the throne room and out came Chaos. Everyone but me bowed to him, which he quickly thanked me for.

"Lord Chaos, what do we owe the pleasure?" Artemis asked talking through the pain in her voice.

"Oh dear... I am so sorry this has to happen." He then looks at me and gives me the worst news of my life. "Percy... you are forbidden from raising this child."

"No," I say standing back in front of Artemis protectively. "You're not taking our child away."

"Percy, I must or the future of Olympus and the world will be in great danger." He says sadly.

I looked back at Artemis and say the horror on her face. I hugged her as she cried for our child as the rest of the council went silent.

"Who will care for our child?" I asked through my own tears. "I won't let them go through what most demigods have to," I stated firmly with Artemis and the rest of the council nodding their heads in agreement.

"And that is why you will choose who will be rising the child."

I looked back down at Artemis who was staring at the floor in front of her in my arms.

"Percy I know this is awful and no one should have to go through this, but this is whats best for your dau-child." Artemis' head snapped up to meet Chaos'

"Where were you saying?" She asked putting her hands on her stomach.

"Good job grandfather." One scolded. "But yes he was saying you are having a daughter."
