Unexpected events part 2

Edwards POV

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing.

I look at the caller I.D. it says Noah. I let it go to voicemail and turn off my phone. I listen to the beeps of the heart rate. It speeds up very little but goes back to normal.

"Come on Ally." I say leaning my head back into her lap and close my eyes, "You can't leave me."

"I love you too much. I-I will do anything to be with you, babe come back to me. That way I can hold you tight in my arms again and we can go to our secret place." I sigh.

"I miss you and your over enthusiasticness about 5 Seconds Of Summer." I smile thinking about her 'dancing' and 'singing'.

(Not even a actual word.aha)

I feel a hand mess my hair up, "Thank you for the compliment." I hear a familiar voice say.

I look up, and sure enough Ally has woken from her long sleep.

"ALLY! You heard that..?"

"Which part?" She says.

"All of it?"

"Yeah, how long has it been?"

"Half of a week, well almost a week." I respond feelings blood rush to my cheeks.

"Awh is Edward blushing?"

I get up from the chair I was sitting in and say in her bed arranging that why she was sitting on my lap.

"Shut up, and enjoy this mo-"

"Where are my parents?" she says.

"Th-they never came and.....Ally don't cry." I stutter.

I bear hug her.

"They don't even care."

"We should get the nurses and tell Noah and Chelsea."

"Chelsea never came."

"You heard everything?"

"Yeah, Noah lied to you. You stayed here day after day. Some nurse came in and she said you were a good boyfriend and you said forget it, you know this."

"Oh."

"It's not your fault, I shouldn't have ditched you that night."

"I should've got in my parents' car and followed you, so it sorta was my fault."

"Edward." she puts her finger to my lips, "I missed you."

"I missed you too and I love you."

"I like you t-"

I shuffle to get off of her hospital bed and walk out the door to call Noah.

"Hey Noah. Ally woke up, I'll be waiting in the hall for you."

"Why in the ha-"

I hang up. I dig my fingers into my eyes and cry. "Why won't she say it?" I whisper.

People that are walking by look at me weirdly.

I get up and almost walk out the hospital when I check on Ally.

She has ripped out her cannula and is crying.

"Ally! What is wrong with you! You need that to live!" That's what the doctor told me anyways.

She starts coughing and I run over to her bed and put the cannula back in her nose.

"I'll be right back I need some fresh air." she doesn't look at me but nods.
