Truth or Lie?

Ally's POV

"I had to go on a trip. I'm so sorry. They took away my phone and everything it was awful." He lies looking me in the eyes.

"Wow." I wipe my tears, roll my eyes and get up. "I'm done with the bullshit. You come back when I'm practically over you. Then you lie about where you've been."

He walks towards me and kisses me but I don't do anything but push him away. Life is way different than movies. Suddenly I look at him expressionless.

"I lied too." I look down. "I'm not over you at all."

He steps toward me smiling like a dork. He just bearhugs me for a longtime. Then sighs.

"My step dad, he was popular in high school. He wanted me to be popular like him so when I refused. He beat me. He did it until a week ago he let my bruises heal and said not to tell my mum when she gets back from her business trip, he said I can talk To you now. He said that I wasn't allowed to before." He tells me as we rock a little.

"Want to go to the park?" I say pulling back and tracing my thumbs in circles on his hand as I hold them.

"To catch up?" He wonders curiously.

"Yeah." I look away.

"No, I want to know about the others." He insists.

"Okay."

"Well we can do that later." He smiles taking my hand in the direction of the park. I take my hand back and just follow him.

"Sorry. I jus-"

"It's fine." he mumbles.

"You can't be mad at me for not holding your hand! You know how stupidly stupid that is?!" I shout at him.

He smiles and puts his hand on my cheek and looks me in the eyes.

Edwards POV

"You can't be mad at me for not holding your hand! You know how stupidly stupid that is?!" She shouts at me.

I look at her flustered face. She is so adorable when she is mad. I just smile up at her. I put my hand on her cheek and look into her eyes.

Her expression softens. "I'm so sorry Ally."

"No you aren't." she says removing my hand. She pushes me away.

"You are not!" She declares with tears streaming down her face.

"Ally I love you."

"No you don't." she sobs out.

I go to hug her but she just pushes me away. I try again and she pounds on my chest until she goes weak. I pull her into a hug and she just cries for a long, long time.

"I'm so, so, so, so sorry." I kiss her forehead.

"How could he?" she sniffles.

"Baby, it's alright."

"No it's not."
