Jennifer's POV
"I-im sorry i-i didn't..mean to touch your p-personal things.." I stuttered by seeing the way he acted
"Ah.." he sighed
I quickly placed the pendant back into it's place and closed the drawers. Now jimin looked at me and he knew I was afraid of him by the way I stood in the corner of his room supporting myself as I was still surprised by his sudden outburst..
"Jennie.. I'm sorry, I was not in my right mind" jimin said as his eyes softened once again and the darkness was no longer in his eyes..
"I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have done that" I said to him as I steadied myself
"I.. ah, my, my head hurts.. it hurts really bad" he was catching his head and furiously rubbing it
"Jimin are you okay?" I asked as I reached near him my eyes filled with nothing but concern
"Should I get you some water? Are you dizzy?"
There was no response..
I quickly hurried to the kitchen and opened the fridge grabbing the bottle of water I turned back and made my way back into his room. "Drink, you'll be fine.." I handed him the water and it fell from his hands, I removed the cap and placed the bottle tip to his mouth. Instead he refused and gestured me to his bag..
"Just get my pills from the bag please.." jimin begged as he sat on the floor with his knees folded and his head between his knees.
"What pills? ARE YOU TAKING DRUGS OR SOMETHING?!"
"NO they're just medicine now please.." jimin mumbled but loud enough for me to catch his words
Quickly grabbing his bag, I opened the front zip and found a small weird shaped bottle. There was no label and I tried to open the cap. I tried harder but it wouldn't open..
Finally giving up i noticed a small writing at the bottom. It said to tap at the center and twist to open. I followed the instructions and succeeded. I took out a small grayish white colored tablet and ran back to jimin. Is jimin sick? I wondered as I stepped inside his room.
I saw jimin somehow managed to get up and lay on his bed. Now he was sleeping?..
I saw him shivering and placed a blanket on him. He was having a nightmare?
He was murmuring something and he was still shaking..
I bent down a bit and tried to catch his words..
"I'm s-sorry please don't b-beat me.."
He sounded scared..
"It's okay jimin, I'm here" I whispered into his ears
Suddenly he grabbed my hand and I tried to let go but it only made him catch on tighter,
"Please..omma, p-please..don't leave m-me and hyung..jebal" he said again
His eyes were still closed.. is he sleep talking? But what happened to his mother? And who was beating him?
Questions flooded my mind as I felt something in my hand. Oh! I almost forgot about the tablet. Before I tried to wake him he jolted up and when he saw the tablet in my hand he quickly drank it with the water I gave him..
"Jennie I think you should go, it's already late also"
"B-but then what about you?" I saw him turning pale at my question and I felt the need to help him
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine after some rest" he replied as he looked down
"Ok but what happened to you tho?" I asked hoping to get an answer
"It's nothing.." he replied quickly
"But you were really frightened.."
"I'm fine" he said
"You were talking in your sleep" I said and that made him look at me
"Oh uh.. what did I say?" He asked
"Not gonna tell you, unless you answer my questions" I smiled as I saw his expression change
"Hmph..fine" he crossed his arms and looked down again
"Well I want to ask you something.." he said
"What is it?"
"What's the relation between you and hoseok hyung?" He asked suddenly which startled me.. why does he wanna know?
"Are you that curious?" I asked raising my eyebrows
"Nevermind, don't tell me now just go"
Rude..
Suddenly I saw him shot up from his bed and in a minute standing beside me, he looked much more refreshed and relaxed now and I could see no more tension in his face..
"So, what about our science project?" He suddenly asked..
I was surprised by the change in his behavior and how much difference was there between this jimin and the jimin from before.
"Oh that well.. I guess we'll discuss some other day and are you okay now?"
"I'm perfect, now let's go eat I'm hungry!"
After sometime
"Jennie, come the koki is ready"
Jimin returned to the hall and placed the plate of koki on the dining table and he sat on one chair while i sat opposite him. He took out two cans of Sprite and placed it on either sides..
The rest of the time we quietly ate until I was curious about something
"Jimin , would you mind to tell me what those tablets are for?"
I asked him slowly
"Um..well it's just for head pain" he said and quickly continued to eat and stuff his mouth
I knew he was lying but I didn't bother to ask for more. Maybe he was not comfortable with telling me .. now I was curious about something else
"Well ... Who are you going with to prom?" I asked him
"Hmm..are you that curious?"
Jimin smirked at me
I was already blushing . But I quickly dodged all of the thoughts in my mind and said
"No, just I was asking you because you asked me something similar earlier" I said him remembering when he asked about my relationship with hobi .
Jimin thought for sometime and smiled
He came a little bit closer to me . He placed his lips near my ear and whispered
"Well you know I was actually curious about that .." and he went back to his normal position and smiled at me...
