Jennie's POV
It has been a week since I had known about hobi coming to Korea. I was clueless at first. I didn't know what to do but till now I haven't run into him which caused me relief. But I was sure one day I'll have to meet him and say him the truth..
On the other side jimin and I have become friends but we don't talk with each other but as a group when there's Lisa, Jackson and taehyung. He gave me his number the other day and we've been chatting since. I've been down lately because of the guilt from last year but jimin always seems to cheer me up. He asked me once if I was doing okay and I replied everything was fine.
But I always had butterflies in my stomach whenever he was a bit near me. I ignored it but it was not possible. He on the other side was enjoying all this..
I was not sure if he had an effect on me. Maybe I'm not accepting it..
But how can I know about him so much when I just met him? It was weird, it felt like we were good friends who met after a long time. We were so comfortable with each other. At times I had these flashbacks of him and me in the past. It continued till it started to become dreams..
Lauren on the other side was jealous whenever jimin talked with me. I ignored her but one day she was really out of her mind
"Jennie this is not funny anymore" Lauren said as I was walking out of the washroom
"What is not funny?" I asked
"This all thing with you and Jimin, stay away from him.." she snapped
I stayed quiet
"I will do the same horrible things i did last time to you at school so I'm letting this slide now" she said and went as she flipped her hair backwards
I really wasn't scared of her now, at least not like how I was scared of her in America. I was brave and I've grown. I completely ignored her and went outside as I saw Jackson waving at me
I waved back and smiled at him when I saw jimin coming towards Jackson and me
"How's this science thing going for you jackson?" Jimin asked him
"It's almost done, our topic was something about.. uh I forgot" he sighed
"But it's fine because my partner is doing almost all the work, I just have to do what she says. No worries" he said which made jimin look at me
"What?" I said
"We haven't even started" he said
"We'll do it soon" I said avoiding eye contact
Then the bell rang and I headed to science class. My benchmate was jimin again..
"We should start discussing about this" he said as I was startled at his voice.
I was still not used to his soft and honey voice
"Ya, come over to my house today we'll discuss then" I said
"You want me to come today itself?" He was kinda surprised
"Ya? Why?"
"I invited taehyung over to my house" jimin said as he scratched his head
"Ok then I'll come to your house today" I said
"What?! No you can't, they're all males and you're a girl" he said as he looked at me
"Its alright I'll just come, we don't have much time. We have to submit the reports and information next week then the analysis after that" I said
"Besides.. you wanted an A" I mumbled loud enough for him to hear
He looked defeated
"Ok fine, I'll text you my address." He said and the teacher came and the class continued
During lunch we all sat together at our usual places
"Jennie would you like to go shopping today?" Lisa asked as she took a bite of her sandwich
"Eh..not today we'll go another day?" I said eyeing jimin as i remembered I had to go to his house today
"Uh..ok then" Lisa said
"Hey Lisa um.. i could join you for shopping if you want" taehyung said as his ears were turning red
I giggled quietly at Lisa who was surprised and was stuttering, I covered up for her
"Wow taehyung that will be wonderful, he can help you carry all the bags right Lisa?" I said as Lisa glared at me
Jimin chuckled as well
"Ya taehyung go ahead and help her shop" jimin said this time.
Jackson was already gone when he met his friend jaebum
After school I was Heading to my bus saying goodbye to Lisa when suddenly someone held my hand, I freaked out and looked up to dark brown eyes starting right into me..
"Are you sure you wanna come today?" He asked once more
"Yes, we don't have time and i wanna receive an A too" I said and stepped on the bus
$hit..he was in the same bus
But thankfully he sat behind with a small boy who looked really young
At home
It was almost 5 and I was still looking at my closet with a blank mind. I've already tried on five outfits but not satisfied with none..
You're not going to a party Jennie
Just dress casual..
But for some reason I wanted to look good..
Aish..you stupid girl what's wrong with you
Just pick something, I told myself
But I spent another 10 minutes looking through everything. My room was a mess by now and it was 5:30
"What are you doing?!" Jake screamed seeing the state of my room
"Don't you know how to knock? And I'm going to a friend's house so drop me there please"
"Whatever, but you can't go now because mom and dad went grocery shopping with my car since dad's is punctured" he said chewing on his gum
"What?! Great I'm already late now what"
"Just wait, what else can you do" he went back downstairs putting his headphones back on his head, I assumed he was playing games on his computer with his friends or something
"Aaahh" I shouted out of frustration
Anyways mom and dad will take another hour so I might just take a little rest
I laid down on the pile of clothes on my bed and without me noticing drifted off to sleep hugging my pillow closely to me..
