Jimin's POV
After Mi Sun made the comment about wanting to live life the best she could, I just decided to act on instinct. There as a stray fallen hair across her cute, button nose. I took a deep breath. Screw it, I thought, before reaching up to fix the hair.
Her skin was soft, and as my hand lingered on her face, I examined her lips. They were full and rosy, basically inviting me to kiss them. So I did. She didn't move at first, but after a moment, she returned my kiss. As our breathes began to mingle, I realized what I just did and froze. I then pulled away, averting my gaze. I couldn't believe I had just kissed her.
I probably made her so uncomfortable, I thought. "I'm sorry Mi Sun, that wasn't right," I murmured. I didn't agree with what I that, but I said it anyway for her sake. "Jimin," I heard her whisper. I looked up nervously. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes wide, like a child's. "Are you sure that wasn't right?" she asked me quietly. I halted.
I knew it hadn't been, I had only apologized because I thought she hadn't wanted me to kiss her. I stared into her eyes. They were questioning and eager, the yearning for my answer clear. I didn't give her one. I only leaned in once again, this time confidently pressing my lips to hers. My heart was fluttering, my mind too aware of the situation. She immediately returned my gestures, gently yet impatiently pushing for more. I reached my hand up and ran my thumb along the sharp bone of her jaw, lined with her satin-soft skin.
My mind lit on fire, and a warmth spread throughout my body as she reached up and placed her small hands on my shoulders. I sudden noise from the front of her apartment pulled me back to reality. I reluctantly pulled away, as did Mi Sun. She looked down but couldn't hide the growing blush in her cheeks. I smiled fondly at the rosy color, though I was sure the rising warmth in my face depicted the same hue.
The front door, opened and closed. "I'm home," a familiar voice called. Jae Eun. I almost wanted to scowl at her for interrupting Mi Sun and I, but she would suspect something. As she walked into the kitchen she smiled, putting a few groceries on the counter. "Want to help me? I'm making Jajangmyeon for dinner," she said, smiling brightly. "I'd love to," I responded, getting to my feet.
