Lyra's P.O.V
My heartbeat was echoing through my ears as Cole stood in front of me, his cheeks flushed with pink. I gulped as Cole inched closer, taking strong strides as he finally stood in front of me.

"You have no idea how much I wanted this..." His words fanned against my face, making my legs go weak as his face came closer to mine. His hands found his way to my face, cupping them as he leaned closer, his lips brushing against mine......

SO WAKE ME UP WHEN IT'S ALL OVER

WHEN I'M WISER AND OLDER

ALL THIS-

"Are you fucking kidding me..." I growled in annoyance and angrily jabbed the stop button on my phone before throwing it somewhere on the bed.

Why oh why, can't life just let me enjoy the bliss of having my own crush kissing me?

Still grumpy from the interruption, I lazily got up from my bed and headed towards my bathroom to get ready for the hangout with Cole.

As I finished showering, I quickly dried my hair and brushed through the messy knots, tying it into a ponytail before changing into a hoodie and leggings. I preferred to dress casual, knowing I would feel more comfortable anyways. As for makeup, I gave up halfway considering I can barely put on mascara.

I barely finished spraying my deodorant when there was a honk outside of my house. I quickly peeked out of the window just to see Cole waving to me from his car. A smile formed on my lips as I quickly hurried down the stairs saying a quick bye to Liam before heading out of the door to meet Cole.

"Hey." I greeted him breathlessly as he got out of his car looking absolutely hot.

He was wearing black ripped jeans like and a white tee that showed his abs and I was absolutely loving that look on him.

"Earth to Lyra?" I heard him call out. My eyes tore away from him and focused on his words instead.

"What?"

"I said wanna grab some breakfast first? I know a great place to go to." He chuckled, showing me the picture of the cafe on his phone.

I nodded, giving him a smile as I got inside his car.

About 20 minutes later, we arrived at the cafe and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was decorated more to a modern style cafe, where the walls were splashed with black paint, and aesthetic neon words lights. The lamps dangled from the ceiling which was also in black, giving it a really cool vibe, as the room was also filled with cool yet chic furniture.

"Whoa," I mumbled, admiring the room.

Cole chuckled at my reaction and led me to a empty table as we sat down and ordered our food. After a few minutes of waiting, our food came, along with our drinks which made it impossible to eat, considering they looked too aesthetic to be destroy by me. But I eventually did anyway, due to Cole's nagging.

Further into our conversation, we were soon chatting about some stuff about school when suddenly a figure came out of nowhere, pulling me by my arm.

"I finally found you." A heavy breathing appeared beside my ear, startling me.

"Ash? What are you doing here?"

"Well considering that you blocked and ignored me yesterday, you don't expect me to not find you, do you?!" He huffed, his strong gaze piercing through me.

"I told you I was busy. So go away." I retorted back at him, pulling my arm back from him.

"I'm not going anywhere, and you're going to follow me whether you like it or not." He huffed, grabbing me by my wrist as he pulled me up from my chair in one swift movement.
