"Crystal? Crystal, hey, Crystal!" Josh shook me awake. I guess my alarm didn't go off. I sat up and looked in the mirror. I looked DISGUSTING! I put the blanket over my head so Josh wouldn't see my gross morning-face.
Knowing what I was thinking, Josh peeled the blanket off my head and whispered, "You look perfect. Go have a shower, maybe you will wake up a little."
I tossed the blankets and pillows away from my large bed and and sat up. As soon as my feet touched the floor, I jumped. It was really cold.
I walked to the bathroom but on my way I saw the suitcases piled up in front of the door. I groaned. I hate my dad for this, I thought.
After my shower I changed into a small dark blue crop top and put a few crop tops in my suitcases. I also put on pink skinny jeans.
"Okay, Nick? Ceanna? Cryssie? You ready?" My dad hollered from the door.
"Dad, please, don't call me that, I'm not a kid anymore!" I huffed.
We stepped outside and walked down the path from my house to the car. We drove for a half an hour until we finally reached the big dock with all of the boats. Ours was the biggest because my dad was rich. My dad must have been here recently because there were blankets and pillows and towels and bathing suits piled neatly in a cabinet in the boat.
"Just to make it clear, Josh and I get the comfortable seat on the end." I smiled.
"Just to make it clear you're not sleeping next to your boyfriend. I'm not as stupid as you think." My dad replied.
I walked farther into the boat with my suitcases, and everyone followed.
"Can I drive?" Ceanna squealed.
"Do you have a license?" My dad answered.
Ceanna didn't answer because she already knew what he was going to say.
I peeked in a few cupboards on the edge of the huge boat and found cereals, candy, canned soup, everything! I smiled. Maybe this won't be that terrible after all.
Ceanna interrupted my thoughts with a horrifying scream and I jumped.
"What?!" I yelled back.
"SPIDER! SPIDER!" She screamed again as my dad let it crawl on him and threw it into the water. I shivered. Gross.
We all made ourselves comfortable with a soda in each of our hands. This is pretty relaxing.
My dad started up the boat while he looked at the map. He smiled at everyone, "Won't this be great?"
"Yeah, totally," Nick said sarcastically, "It'll be so fun. Can't wait," he said again, sarcastically, taking another sip of his root beer.
