Palm trees, waves pounding at the shore with great force. I look around. I hear whispers all around me but nobody is here. I call out for my family but nobody is coming. I'm scared. I'm alone. I'm soaking wet. Trees surround me. Water. Water everywhere. I have no idea where I am. Lightning strikes a boat in the distance and its starts on fire. I gasp and step back. Strange noises are everywhere. I keep hearing voices calling out my name but there's one voice that I keep hearing. Its a small childish voice calling out help me, Crystal, please help me. I need you Crystal Smith. Who are you! I scream out

Crystal. Another voice. Voices cut off by voices. Tightening my mind, making me claustrophobic. Thunder rolls like a giant bowling ball in the clouds above. Another strike of lightning hits right in front of me and I'm blown back by the force. I have cuts and bruises. A sign floats by reading: DANGER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Another rumble of thunder. Voices calling out to me. Where am I! Nobody answers. Nobody is here. I start to sob as a shadow appears. Come here, Crystal. The same small voice cries out. I hesitate but walk forward. Each step I take forward is another step they take back. Stop! I scream. Come here, it whispers. My throat starts to close. I feel a pair of hands around my throat but nobody is here. I am alone. I grasp for air but nothing comes. Please, I manage to croak out but the hands tighten. I'm trying to breath one breath, two breath, three and fo-.

My body jolts up, I'm breathing heavy breaths. My hand immediately grabs my throat, I'm panting. My dad runs over to me while Ceanna steers the boat.

"Crystal, what happened, what's wrong?" He continues with questions. My mind is blurry, I hesitate to answer him. He looks like a colourful blob.

My vision clears up a small bit, Josh and Nick hover above me.

"What's wrong with her?" Nick holds out his hand and lifts my chin, scanning my face. There's cuts and bruises all over me just like in my dream. I flinch at his touch, I'm dripping with sweat.

"Wha-" I try to speak but my throat hurts, again, from my dream

Josh grabs a dry towel and dabs it around my face.

My muscles are sore, I can't move because it feels like so much work. I'm in so much pain.

I can see clearly now, everyone scanning my face.

"She okay?" Ceanna calls to my dad from the drivers seat.

"Uh, I don't know," he answers

"What, what, I don't, ugh," I grunt as a flash of darkness in my eyes shows up.

I fall to a seat in the boat. Don't faint, I say to myself, please don't faint.

I'm panting again.

Darkness comes up like a terrifying monster. 'No, no, no, don't, stay awake, Crystal, I say to myself. The darkness comes up, taking over my entire body, I feel tugs on my arm, my dads voice, and just like that, the world around me fades away.
