I woke up a while after I fainted.
"Oh thank God!" My dad exclaimed. They were all pretty happy when I woke up. They got serious the moment a finished telling them about my nightmare.
"Did you recognize the voices from anywhere?"
"No."
"Have you seen that little boy before?"
"No."
"What do you think the dream was trying to tell you?"
"That wherever where going, dad, isn't gonna be paradise after all."
My dad was shocked at the words that just came out of my mouth.
"I saw a similar sign, you know the one we found floating? I saw one there, too, it said something about being warned." I said. Two hours have passed since we talked about my dream. We are all eating crackers and drinking Pepsi.
"Guys wanna play cards?" Nick asked us all.
We agreed to playing cards. We played a few rounds of Go Fish, Cheat, and 7 up.
It was really fun getting to together with everyone and not thinking about anyone else, just having a good time with each other without fighting.
Dark clouds were now hovering above us in the clouds.
"Weather says severe storms," Josh said with a touch of fear.
"We will probably be fine. Put the cover over the boat and-" BOOM! A huge rumble of thunder came out of nowhere. It was crazy! It started to get really windy- I didn't like where this was going at all.
"Someone help me please!" My dad screamed out. "I can't steer the ship!"
"WHAT?" Nobody could hear him over the winds and waves.
"COME HERE" he screamed.
Josh and Nick were trying to put the cover over the boat while Ceanna and I helped my dad steer, it was getting harder to do it each minute. The winds were extreme now. They had the cover halfway when suddenly Nick got flipped backwards and went flying over the cover!
"NICK!" All eyes were on him, his breath was being taken by the wind, he could hardly breath.
Josh climbed to the top, "GRAB MY HAND!" He shouted as loud as he could over the wind.
Nick forced his fingers off the bar and grabbed Josh's hand tightly. In the other hand stood my dad. Nick flipped backwards and flung into the ship.
"You okay?" I asked, helping him into his feet.
"Never better," he said, chin held high.
I rolled my eyes.
My dad, Nick, Ceanna, Josh and I were all trying to get the cover over the boat. After 5 minutes we finally got it roped, AND clipped firmly to the other side of the boat.
After all of that, we suddenly realized that nobody had been steering the ship.
"I don't even know where we are or what direction were in!" My dad announced with anger.
Not even seconds later, the boat started to toss and turn and flip, it was now down pouring with rain and strikes of lightning were everywhere."This," my dad said, biting his lip, "is not going to turn out well."
