You and Finn had always gone to school together. You'd seen him around but never really talked. In 1st and 2nd grade when no one knew what popularity was you were friends, everyone was. Then in 3rd grade, he fell in with his crowd and you with yours.
It wasn't until glee that you talked to him again. You didn't have many friends and your parents suggested trying out for glee to try to make friends. Mr Shue was very happy with your performance and was quick to add your name on the list.
At the end of the first meeting, you were talking to Tina. Finn walked over "Hey I'm Finn. I've not seen you around. Are you new?"
"We went to elementary school together." You deadpanned.
"Wait? Sorry, who are you?"
"(Y/N). (Y/N) (Y/L/N). The person your football team pays to do their homework." You roll your eyes. You and Tina start walking out the room but Finn follows.
"Wait, you're the team nerd?" You stop walking and look at him "That came out wrong, I meant uh- sorry?"
Tina looked at you and decided to safe Finn "Sorry we've got to go. Bye Finn."
Finn was practically facepalming as he went to next class. Now he remembered you. He didn't think you'd glow up that much and didn't recognise you but he'd never forget you again.

When Sam came to McKinney he started flirting with you. You weren't together yet, only friends but even after you started dating he was more protective of you when he was around.

Finn had kinda forgot your anniversary. He only remembered when (Y/N) handed him his gift before the bell. He didn't have a chance to say anything before the bell.
So far he's managed to avoid the topic since (Y/N) wasn't in any of his morning classes. But they had Spanish next together.
Finn had basically begged Mr Shue to swap his seat next to (Y/N) before and now he was kinda regretting it. "What we doing at lunch?" she asked as you translated some sentences.
"Oh um, I was thinking we could just grab lunch from the caf like normal?"
She nodded "Ok but where will we sit? For all, I like the rest of glee it's our day and we've barely talked."
"Oh um-"
"Finn (Y/N), stop talking." Saved by the Shue.
Finn was trying to hide the fact he was sweating buckets. Sure (Y/N) had mentioned their anniversary once or twice but she didn't obsess over it meaning he didn't have a reminder. His mind was jumping all over the place.
The bell went and before he could even pack up Mr Shue said: "Finn, stay behind."
(Y/N) sighed "I'll meet you at the caf." She pecked his cheek and grabbed her stuff.
Finn walked up to Mr Shue's desk. "Whats up? You look like your on trial."
"I kinda forgot about mine and (Y/N) anniversary." Finn rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the ground.
Mr Shue's face flooded with realisation "You're screwed then." Finn nodded "Wait, you're in glee. Why don't you sing to her or something."
"You think that'd be ok?"
Mr Shue nodded "It's (Y/N). She would probably prefer that anyway. Use the practise room at lunch"
Finn eventually caught up with (Y/N) who had already got their food. "Hey-" Finn cut her off with a kiss.
"Follow me." Finn basically dragged (Y/N) through the school.
"Why are we-"
"Just listen." He interrupted her again. (Y/N) raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything, just sat in a chair. Finn shook himself slightly before pressing play on his phone and starting.
(Y/N) clapped as he finished his song with a smile on her face. "You forgot didn't you?"
"Yeah."
(Y/N) stood and walked over to him, lifting his head up to make their gaze meet "You're adorable."
Your secret talent

You didn't often wear makeup to school. You'd rather get the extra half hour in bed. it was an in-service day and the glee club had decided to go to the movies together. You had been bored and figured why not.
When you went to school you'd wear comfy, baggy clothes, messy hair and little to no makeup. It was vastly different to how you dressed when you weren't at school. None of your friends even recognised you as you walked up. "Sorry, I'm late."
"(Y/N)?" Kurt asked, shocked.
"Yeah." Basically, the whole glee clubs mouths were open looking at you. You wore black denim shorts, black strappy tank top, red oversized flannels and heeled boots. And for the first time they saw you wearing makeup. A perfect cat eye, on fleek eyebrows and light pink lips. Not to even mention your holo high lighter or perfect complexion. "What, it's just a bit of makeup" you shrugged.
"You have to teach us." Quinn grabbed your arm "Seriously."
Finn hadn't said anything and you were getting nervous "Finn? What do you think?"

What you do on lazy days
Go to the park.
Finn will grab some type of ball and you'll go to the park and he'll try to teach you ball games. After you give up or fail so bad it hits his nose you'll venture to the swing park.
You both become 5 years old again as you see who can swing higher or go faster on the monkey bars. Your both too tall though so you've got to bend your legs.
Parents look at you strangely but after they realise you aren't on drugs they'll chuckle at you and say you're a cute couple, which you are.
