Quinn Catch Up

How you met

You were perusing the library shelves during your free period. You were trying to decide whether to actually study or just read something. Obviously, you chose the later.

Luckily you managed to snag a table with no one at it. As you were reading you heard someone enter the library because of how loud they were. Huffing and sighing with feet pounding against the floor. you looked up and saw a blonde angrily looking through books.

Since she was looking at book after book in the YA section you walked over to her. "Need help finding something?"

"Yeah, decent people." She mumbled. You raised an eyebrow and she shook her head "Just something to read I guess."

You grabbed one of your favourite books from the shelves. "Give this a try."

A little later on she joined you at your table. "Hey, that book is actually kinda good. I don't normally like reading."

You laughed a little "I know. That's kinda why I suggested it. Um if you don't like reading why are you here?"

"Avoiding the drama that always follows me." You had to laugh a little. "What?"

"You're Quinn Fabray. An ex-cheerleader who had a kid and joined glee. Of course, you're surrounded by drama."

She looked taken aback "Do we know each other or?"

"Everyone knows who you are. You made sure of it since freshman year." She looked down. "Bit of advise, if you don't want drama to stay out of it. Find friends who aren't in the middle of everything."

"Like you?"

"Lets put it like this, do you know my name? Maybe remember me from anywhere?" she shook her head "I'm (Y/N). Were in homeroom, Spanish, English and PE together. You never noticed me because I didn't get involved with drama."

"Well its kind of too late for me." She sighed.

I grabbed my stuff since the period was almost over. "You can always try. Find me at lunch. If you want."

Quinn did, it took her a while though. You introduced her to your group of misfits (aka friends) and had a laugh at lunch. She started sitting with you at lunch instead of the new directions.

You and Tina were pretty close before she joined glee and you drifted apart. Once you started dating Quinn and you hung out with her more you rekindled your friendship with Tina. It was just because of how close you were. Tina knew a lot about you and it worried Quinn. Especially since glee club was known for relationship drama.

it wasn't directly to you. Mr Shue had set the challenge for them to sing a song about someone important in their life.

Quinn would normally be way too nervous to sing about you in front of you but decided it would be okay since it was only glee. What Quinn forgot was that you needed to get extra credits so we're going to be playing the guitar in glee with the rest of the music kids.

You were running late and Quinn had already started singing. You quietly walked in and sat with the music kids as she got to "I'm in love with you and all these little things". She didn't see you walk in and kept singing.

Tina instantly noticed you and within seconds it seemed the whole of glee knew the situation. Apart from Quinn. When she finished she looked at everyone's strange expressions. "What?"

Tina nodded in your direction. Quinn glanced over and did a double take when she saw you sitting there. "Well done babe." Quinn span on her heels and walked out the door.

Quickly setting your guitar down you followed her. You grabbed her shoulder to stop her "Hey wait up." When she turned she was pouting "It was sweet."

"You weren't supposed to be there."

You hugged her "And you weren't supposed to talk about my obsession with tea. Come on before they send someone looking." She groaned but let you drag her back to the room.

Your secret talent

Guitar

You learned guitar when you were little. Like 8 or 9. You've been playing ever since. The first time Quinn came over to your house you had been learning a new song on guitar.

You were so busy trying to play you didn't even know your mum had let Quinn in until your door opened. "Hey." You grinned.

"I didn't know you played guitar." She said, moving to sit on your bed.

You shrugged. "Didn't come up."

She looked around your room. "How many types do you play?" she asked when she saw your guitars hanging on the wall.

You slapped the acoustic in your hand "Acoustic, electric and I'm learning bass. If it counts I play a little ukulele."

Her eyes were wide "I can barely play the triangle."

"Give it a try." You placed the guitar in her lap. She tried to play a few chords. Tried. "Right, I'm taking this back now." Somehow she made it sound like death "You stick to singing, I'll do guitar."

Quinn originally came over to study but you ended up jamming most of the time she was there.

What you do on lazy days

Hang out. If you know neither of you has anything to do you'll get a group of people together and go to random places. You'll roam the aisles or target, walk to the nearest food place, window shop. Just try to have fun.

Of course, sometimes it'll just be you two. In cases like that, you'll do the same things but also go out to eat, go on dates, do other things that aren't pg13.
