**Cameron's P.O.V.**

I feel so bad for Des. It's weird though, because she had no fever and didn't seem like she had just a stomach bug. I really hope she's better tomorrow.

I drive off to Nash's house. His girlfriend, Grace, is going to help us try to find a location and the Jacks are meeting us there.

When I arrive, Nash is sitting on the porch. "Hey, are Jack and Jack here?" I ask.

"Yeah, they're inside." I walk into their small house, finding Jack G and Grace at he computer. Grace's fingers do a dance, as she types in some information. Grace's chilly blue eyes look up from the screen and she flashes me a smile. Her hair that was shaded like burnt wood, as usual, was pulled back into a pony tail.

"Hi Cameron, long time no see!" she stands up and hugs me, before sitting back down. I walk over and stand next to Jack G. He glances at me and then shifts a little bit to the right.

"You said Ellie was taken at the hospital, right?" Grace asks, reminding me of the worst day of my life.

"Yes," I choke, as I fight back the tears that come from the memories of that day.

"Well, I was thinking that we could go back to the hospital, you know to scope it out." she suggests, making Jack G. walk away. I thought we were good, but obviously he still is not sure about me.

"Excuse me one moment Grace," I follow Jack into the backyard. He sits down on a giant rock, and takes a deep breath. Should I approach him, or leave? I decide to approach him. "Jack?" I place my hand on his shoulder.

He flinches and slaps his hand onto his chest," Jesus Cameron, you almost scared me to death.".

"Sorry," I apologize, sitting down next to him," Jack, why can't you trust me still?".

"You know why," he spats, staring at the ground. I feel horrible, knowing that what I've done has hurt him this badly. So badly, that he still won't forget about it. The sun barely peaks out from the banking clouds above our heads.

"But I thought we put the past behind us. And you know that I still am pissed at myself for what I've done."

"Cameron, my parents divorced because of what happened! I spent years listening to them fight about it! And the worst part is, they don't even think you knew! They think it was all my fault! Do you even know what it's like to spend a week in jail, because of something you didn't do?" he lashes out. Small screams inch in between his words, as they crawl from his diaphragm. Jack runs his fingers through his hair so many times, that it flops onto the left side.

"I did it to protect you! I didn't mean for you to go to jail and for your parents to divorce! I did it cause I care!" I scream back, ignoring the fact that my voice is completely hoarse.

"See, that's what you do. You try to help everyone, but in reality you can't help everyone. You tried helping Ellie, she got kidnapped. You tried helping Desserea, you guys fight a lot now. You tried helping me, everything went bad. You can't fix everyone, no matter how hard you try." I stand up and head towards the door. Stopping right before I grab the handle, I speak," At least I don't shut out everyone and make them feel lonely.". With that, I slam the door and walk back over to Grace.

"Where the fuck is Nash?" I say in an annoyed tone.

"I don't know, he's probably still on the phone with Rosalie." she answers.

"Who the fuck is Rosalie?" the more we wait, the more annoyed I get. I can't take it anymore and storm into the front yard to find Nash. He still remains sitting on the porch, on the phone.

"How bad is it?" he asks this Rosalie girl, or whoever he's talking to. I de in between the bushes, hoping he doesn't see me.

"That bad?" his voice gets shaky and weary when he starts talking about this bad thing, that I have no clue about.

"Do you need help with anything? It could be at home, there, with the dog, the baby, you, anything." he offers. Really Nash, I thought we were gonna look for my daughter?

"Okay, call me if you need anything. Bye Rosalie." he hangs up.

"Who's Rosalie?" I walk up to him, noticing he won't take his eyes off of the ground.

"Oh, hi Cameron. It's just a friend of mine, well technically she's friends with Hayes, but we're some what friends." he shrugs, voice still weary and weak.

"Isn't that his girlfriend, and since when have they had a baby?"

"Yeah, the babies six months. And I was just checking on Hayes, cause he's in the hospital with pneumonia." he sighs deeply.

"Oh my gosh, is he okay?!" I sit down next to him.

"From what Rosalie has told me, no. She's afraid that it's just gonna be her and the baby for a while. And since she's only seventeen, she's afraid that she can't care for their child that well." I had no idea that this was going on. And I can't believe that they have a baby. Rosalie seemed like someone who wouldn't loose her virginity until she was married, but I guess I was wrong.

"Come on, let's go back inside." Nash and I walk back over to Grace, who has gathered Jack and Jack together.

"Ready to go?" Grace asks, grabbing her keys and walking towards Nash. I nod and we all drive to the hospital that I was in when Ellie got kidnapped.

When we arrive, tears full my eyes as I enter the building my daughter was taken in. "Hi there, who are you visiting today?" the lady at the desk asks us.

"We came back to get the health files for Cameron Dallas." Grace speaks.

"Ah, I see. Is Cameron here with you guys?" I step to the front and shake her hand," Okay, second floor, take a right, and it will be at the end of the hall.".

We all walk toward the elevator, but instead of going to the second floor, we head to the waiting room by the room I was in. We scan the waiting room, and look under chairs and behind things. "What are you guys doing?" a nurse asks us.

"I, uh, lost my phone and they are helping me look for it." I lie. The nurse apologizes for interrupting us and we continue to look.

Suddenly, I feel a crumbled up note brush against my knuckles. I unfold it, finding an address and a name on it. I drop the note and pull Nash by the collar of his shirt towards it. He picks it up and reads it.

"26257 Park Drive, and it seems like they scribbled a name on here, but it's kinda mess-" Eleanor he mouths once he can read it. I nod, tears barely staying in my eye sockets.

"They're keeping her at this address," Nash holds up the paper and leads us all out the door.

So I sort of revealed Jack G. and Cameron's past, but I still won't reveal it completely😏. I have something planned out for the next few chapters. At the end of Being Daddy, I had you guys pick a character and comment who you picked, and I'll tell you that Ellie got picked and that her surprise is coming up soon! Will they save Ellie? Will Hayes be okay? Will Jack G. ever forgive Cameron?
