Love can heal your broken heart
In the time that it is due
Although it may not seem possible
When the pain is fresh and new
Seemingly eternal, and seemingly so strong
That darkened grief inside us
Threatens us for so long
But what was broken can be mended
And we can learn to love again
Even though it seems impossible
Our hearts can be fixed within
Love is the strongest antidote
The greatest cure that we have
It's given to us to save us
From the evil all around
It may not come when you want it
But it'll be there right on time
Always helping and protecting
Love's a perfect, gentle guide.
