Chapter 22

Jungkook's Prov

The top half of my body was laid against the uncomfortable hospital bed with my other half on the chair, my hand holds on tight in y/n's now warm hand. The only noises heard was the beeping of the heart rate monitor and y/n's slight breaths as she sleeps peacefully.

Until there was an unexpected knock on the door.

It's 2 in the morning, who would be visiting now. I lifted my numb body off the bed then off the chair and hobbled towards the door. I finally looked up to have a very similar face smiling back at me, through the small window in the door.

As he walked in I noticed he was carrying a Bouquet of flowers. It was y/n's uncle.

"Hi Jungkook" he greeted me and I bowed back out of respect. I watched as the man walked over to y/n's sleeping body.

"I'm so sorry my darling" he said as his thumb was brushing over y/n's forehead before he kissed it. The man placed the flowers on the table, which was beside y/n's bed and without another word the man simply left.

After closing the door, I walked back to the bed and positioned myself as before. I took ahold of y/n's hand to find it was cold again. "I promise I won't let that man hurt you again"

"Let her go...... STOP IT!!"

I was woken by y/n's loud screams as she frantically sat up in bed.

"It okay, it's Jungkook" I held y/n close to my body as I gently rubbed her back to calm her down. I could feel my right shoulder become wet as y/n's tears seeped through the shirt and onto my skin. I didn't let y/n go, making sure she was safe and had nothing to worry about when in my arms.

Y/n's hands wrapped around my waist and she held onto my form very tight. I jumped up onto the bed, tucking the hair back behind her ears, that had fallen onto her face. I watched as y/n slowly stopped crying and wiped away the remain tears that had ran down her checks. "Your in the hospital" I answered before she could ask the question.

"What happened?" Y/n groaned as her voice was still returning. "You fainted at the party and hitting the floor hard so we took you to the hospital." I could tell y/n was processing my words very slowly. "I'll explain everything tomorrow, now get some rest." I laid her down and pulled the blanket over her body.

"Wait" she said before I could jump off the bed and sit back onto the chair. "Stay with me"

Y/n held onto my hand and pulled me back down with her. Y/n laid her head onto my arm as she snuggled up against me. I rested my other hand on her stomach, drawing small circles, feeling her stomach raise every time she took a breath in.

Before I knew it, I saw fast asleep.
