"Huh annual ball, looks like this year,I will be going too" I said to myself out loud.

"Yes dear, this year you will be attending" I heard my mother say as she walked into the kitchen. "you may also bring Jungkook with you" She smiled.

"Oh no mum, I don't want to scare him with these huge events"

"I am not taking no for an answer and you need to go buy a dress as well, so here is some money I will contribute and the rest, you will have to pay" My mother handed me $300.

"Thank you mum" I hugged my mother then started to make breakfast.

That afternoon I was looking online for a few dress ideas but I need to go try them on in store first. I saved some beautique places and messaged Jungkook to see what he was up too.

I didn't want to wear something that was going to make it difficult for me to get out of, since I am trying on dresses so a pair of biker shorts and a cute tie up top will do.

Jungkook arrived  and we took off for the first beautique.

"What are we doing here?" Jungkook asked as we stepped foot into the building.

"I wanted to ask if you would like  to come with me to a ball?" I said with puppy dog eyes. He just smiled at me and kissed my forehead "I'll think about it"

As I was walking around, I couldn't find anything I liked so we decided to leave  for the next shop.

"So when's this ball?" Jungkook asked as he  placed his hand in mine.

"It's in three weeks time and the Parks are hosting it, they do every year. Last year I couldn't go because I was too young but now that I'm eighteen, I can" I explained to Jungkook

"Three weeks time, why are you looking to buy a dress now then?" Jungkook said.

"The  places we are going to, I can only try the  dresses on in store then they are ordered from the warehouse and I will get it brand new" I smiled at Jungkook knowing he probably doesn't  understand anything  I  just said but he still nodded his head and smiled.

We were at the last  store on  my list and I started to become panicked since I handn't found  anything I like yet.

"Hey what about  this one?" I saw that Jungkook was trying to pull out one of the dresses he had spotted. As I was walking towards him, I noticed it was sparkly and definitely not a  colour I would chose to wear.

I had helped him pull it out and was quite  surprised by the pick, it was beautiful. "Here try it on" Jungkook suggested and followed me to the  change room.

As  I put it on and looked into the mirror, I  knew it was the one, I stepped out  to show Jungkook and his eyes said it all "You're gorgeous" were the words that came out of his mouth. I looked down and smile, okay this is the one.

Jungkook and I walked up to the counter and  I placed  the dress down. "That will be $400" the sales assistant said. As I was pulling  out my wallet to get my mothers money, Jungkook had pulled out his credit  card. "No  babe, I got this" I said to him while grabbing his hand

Jungkook looked at me weirdly, "No let me pay" I quickly placed the $300 my mother gave me and my $100 contribution. The lady took the money then ordered my dress from the warehouse. "It will arrive between 3-5 business days, if it doesn't arrive by next week, give us a call and  we will track it for you" the lovely lady said and I thanked her before leaving the store.

"I don't get it, why can't you take that dress you tired on today?" I looked at Jungkook and laughed knowing well he didn't listen, when I was explaining it to him in the car.

Instead of going home, Jungkook and I stopped at a cute restaurant to get some dinner. "So what's this ball all about anyway?" Jungkook asked while we were waiting for our food.

"Every year the Parks family through this ball, to raise money for an organisation of  their choosing. Each year it's a different organisation and you don't find out till the night. Mr Park is my dads co-worker so my family is invited every year but I would usually stay over a friends house, the night of the ball" I explained to Jungkook

"Okay so now that you have gotten your dress, what colour should my suit be?" Jungkook suggested to me. "Wait soy want to come!?" I said in excitement

"Of course I do, I can't let you walk in on your own, looking beautiful as ever and letting all these men, stare at what's mine" Jungkook smirked and I felt my cheeks rush into a pink colour. I looked down and smiled but Jungkook placed his hand on my chin to raise my head back up and kissed me.

He makes my heart melt
