Telling Him(Chapter Twenty-two)

It's been a month and me and Nathan have finally moved into our new house he was busting schools today and the rest of the week so I have been home alone since they put my on maternity leave early. I got up and decided to go visit the prison I was getting ready and I looked down at my growing belly.

"Your daddy loves you I want you to know that my angel."

I got dressed in leggings and a nice top and natural waved hair and flats I got into my car and headed off.

I pulled in and grabbed a badge since I was engaged to Nathan and I practically grew up with everyone here.
"Oh look how beautiful you look!" I smiled at Stacy she was an older women and hugged her. "Thank you Stacy." "What can I help you with?" We started walking around the prison and catching up. "Actually I'm here to see someone." "Really? And who would that be?" "McCann." She stopped in her tracks. "Ava Channing really?" "Stacy it's important okay?" "Uh okay fine fine go ahead." "thanks Stacy." I hugged her and started walking out in the court yard.

I wasn't afraid of the guys because the cops were around I walked around saying hi and looking for Jason I finally found him he was chest to chest with some big tattooed Mexican guy.

"McCann..." He wouldn't turn around till the Mexican guy looked behind him at me and he backed away I could tell Jason was confused so he turned around I thought he was going to fall over.
"Ava... What are you doing here?" I walked closer towards him. "I came to talk to you Jason. It's important.. come on let's go for a walk around the track." "Nah they closed it." "You clearly forgot who I was." I winked at the guards and they opened it up for me and him.

We started walking around he put his hood and hands in his packets. "So tell me how have you been?" "I'm in an all male prison and have to where these crappy brown uniforms how do you think." "I'm sorry that was a stupid question well you look good like always." "I told you not to visit me Ava." "I know but this is important..." "What?" I stopped walking and sat down in the grass he sat down by me I looked over at him. "I'm pregnant.." "Good for you and on the engagement." He started getting up and walking away. "She's yours." he stopped walking and turned around facing me, I tried to get up he came over and helped me up. "She is yours Jason her name is Kolby and she's yours." He still hasn't said anything. "Jason say something please..." "I'm going to be a dad?" "Well you can't really be a dad if you're in prison for six years Jason.." "What do you mean?" "Listen Nathan is really excited about her and wants to raise her as his-" "Don't fucking dare tell me you're going to let him raise my daughter! She's mine!" "Jason calm down before they make me go away okay calm down... you need to think what's best for Kolby." "Ava I want her." "I know you do but I don't want her growing up thinking her dad was a bad man because he's not. He's my first love." "If you think it will be best if he raised out daughter then fine." I placed my hand on his cheek. "I don't think he will better than you I just think it's better this way." I kissed his cheek and he wrapped his arms around me I have missed being in his arms I looked up at him. "You know when you get out you can see her." "But I can't call her mine." "Jason I love you and Nathan but you pushed me away and Nathan was there for me when I needed someone and she deserves a stable living environment." He ran his hand through my hair. "I know she does I just wish I was there for you.... you're still my princess and I love you." I looked around making sure no one was looking and I kissed his lips I felt him smile in the kiss. "Listen I will think of something okay? I love you." He kissed me again making me smile. "I love you too my princess." "Come on let's get you back. I have to go home anyways." we walked back in and I gave him a hug and kissed his cheek. "I love you princess." he whispered to me making me blush. "I love you to handsome." I hugged him one last time not wanting to let go but had to maybe I should let Jason be there for Kolby I walked out and went home making it home before Nathan.
