Days passed by slowly. The sun rose and slept. The moon took the skies and fell. Yet, here he still was, refusing to fathom what had happened.

He not only refused the reality of the situation, but he neglected the laws of nature as well. For hours succeeded into days and days into weeks and weeks now into a month, Loki could not move away from the white room. Keeping his hands still in front of him, he continued to channel his powers unto the chamber, freezing Loraine so her body would not distort.

The doors opened finally and he turned to look at a healer entering the room.

"Did you bring it?" He asked.

"Yes, my prince," the healer replied.

Loki had waited in the room for weeks and finally, the healer had come to him with results. "Come, quickly," he ordered. The healer complied and went towards the prince of Asgard. She held out a vial and gave it to Loki.

"This was extracted from the fallen Kree that was found in Asgard a month ago," the healer informed. "I believe it was the one Lady Loraine found in the woods."

Loki's eyes glimmered in hope. His arms did not feel sore anymore as he stared at the serum on his hands. Asgard took a month recreating the formula and the calculations found on Earth. This could be the cure and the key he was hoping for.

He looked at Loraine's lifeless body.

"Humans are not as complex creatures to those of Asgardians and Kree," Loki took the vial and examined it with one hand. "G.H. 325 allows the user to gain rapid healing by promoting advanced cellular regeneration," he explained. "That none of any sorcery could do."

The healer glanced at Loraine. "But my prince, for the serum to work properly, we need to clear her memories. A lot of patients in Earth had experienced...casualties, hallucinations and obsession of alien writings."

Loki furrowed his eyebrows. "And we know this because?"

"Agent Phil Coulson."

His eyes widened in surprise. Phil was one of the agents he had murdered during his Battle in New York. He remembered so clearly that he stabbed him with his staff on his chest. "He is alive?"

"And well. He was the first human who had taken G.H 325 and survived without any negative effects. His memory was wiped away."

Loki sighed. "So it is necessary to take out the memories?"

"Yes."

He pursed his lips into a straight line as he tried to think. If there was any other way to bring Loraine back to life, he would most certainly take it. Even if the casualties were to take her memories away, it would still be of his joy to see her...again.

"Alright then," he agreed and the healer nodded. Loki waved his hand and the ice slowly melted away from her body. The cold coat of ice hissed from her skin as they draped off her.

The healer motioned the chamber to turn on and lights slowly flickered to life. She plunged and emptied the vial towards a channel, tapped on the holograms and prepared to induce the serum towards her body.

"My lord, I will now begin the fusion," the healer announced.

"Do it."

The chamber hummed in energy and the healer rapidly braided, swung, and weaved the lights. Loki stood at the edge of the bed calmly spectating Loraine's face and looking at her vitals from time to time. The bed began to pulse in gold as the serum flowed its way inside Loraine's body, deep within her skin and down towards her veins. Loki, in his awe, slowly saw the color coming back on Loraine's face. His eyes widened in hope and glee.
