I spent the first day texting friends to see if they knew anybody named Delilah.
Calum: "What kind of name is that?"
Niall: "Nah, but I bet she's cute with a name like that."
Ashton: "No, but I can ask Mia if she knows her."
And so I texted to Ashton: "TEXT YOUR GIRLFRIEND RIGHT NOW I NEED TO KNOW WHO DELILAH IS."
Ashton: "Okay Dude one sec!!! God, this must be really important, the last time you texted in all caps you were drunk-- wait, dude are you drunk?"
"NO IM NOT DRUNK TEXT HER NOWWWW ASH!"
-----5 long minutes later-----
Ashton: "She's one of Mia's best friends."
"You... you make me wait five minutes to get one sentence? ONE SENTENCE? TELL ME EVERYTHING ABOUT HER!"
Ashton: "Purple hair, nose piercing, likes boy bands... Sounds pretty cool to me bro."
"Does she like books?? What's her favorite book?!"
Ashton: "Stuff by a guy named John Green."
"Holy shit I'm in love and I haven't even met her."
Ashton: "Dude it's 3 am, and I need to get sleep so I can stay up on Friday at Michael's party. Two days! Night bro."
"Night."
And as I fell asleep I thought of my favorite John Green line-
"I fell in love the way you fall asleep, slowly and then all at once."
I wonder what her favorite line is. I'll ask her in two days.
