Luke's POV:
I don't know what just happened, I only remember it in glimpses.
"Augustus Waters" was what she told me I exceeded,
Boy bands were what she loved.
She told me "To Be Continued",
Alaska Young was what she was.
And she kissed me. That girl kissed me. Delilah kissed me.
You know that feeling of wishing to remember your whole dream, instead of small parts of it?
It's just like that. You want to remember all the details... But you can't.
I thought about her eyes. They were a beautiful green and had black edges which made them stand out even more. She in general stood out from the rest of the people in this boring world. Even in San Francisco, the most colorful city that ever existed, she stood out.
She was rebellious, but it wasn't just to be rebellious, it had a story behind it.
She was the type of person to have an explanation for why she's the way she is.
And she may be rebellious, but only minutes before, I watched her laugh. She was rebellious, not goth. Not emo. Just rebellious.
I heard footsteps coming towards my door, and then knocking.
Was it her again?
I got up hoping that it was. I opened the door, and in all his mighty glory stood Michael.
Why.
"Hey."
"Hey."
"And what makes you find yourself here?"
"Well, I wanted to come over and order pizza with you cuz' I was hungry and bored and was tired of my own place, but see, as I walked up your stairs, I saw a girl who looked awfully a lot like Delilah. She even said hey! Isn't that so weird?"
"Michael... She just wanted to make sure she could stand me."
"Fine. Pizza?"
"Sure.", He walked to the kitchen with his phone and started ordering, whilst looking through the fridge.
I then realized that life goes on. Even though I wasn't't particularly in the mood to hang out with anybody but Delilah, Michael still came over, and he didn't know what had happened when Delilah came over, and I wasn't going to tell him, and that was fine.
Because Life Goes On.
