Richard was sitting between my legs with his head on my chest, flipping childishly through the channels.

"You should let your beard grow out for hiatus," Richard said and randomly. He set the remote back down, ultimately giving up on the TV, he turned around to look at me.

"You like it?" I asked with a small laughed and he smirked, the same little curl of his lips that I lived with for over a year.

"Of course I do," he said and gazed dreamily at my cheek. He started stroking it before he curled his fingers into my hair and connected our lips, it was warm and gentle. When he pulled away he looked as if he were going to fall asleep.

"You tired?" I asked, barely above a whisper.

"No but I want to talk to you about something," he said and pulled a piece of lint off my shirt.

"Yeah?" I asked and he raised an eyebrow, meeting my eyes with a small laugh.

"I found something in our room," he said, "while I was cleaning today."

"What?" I said, obviously confused.

"Are you proposing to someone because I'd love to meet them," he giggled, "you're not good at hiding stuff."

"Ugh," I groaned and ran a hand over my face, "just don't tell Jensen because I was planning on asking him next week."

"You're marrying Jensen?" He asked with a laugh, his face was so full of happiness he looked like he would burst.

"Who else?" I asked and he started to fidget with the hem of my shirt.

"Rich, will you marry me?" I asked, he looked up and his eyes were glassed over like he could cry.

"Yes Jared," he laughed and hugged me. He buried his face in my chest and I wrapped my arms around him, I kissed the top of his hair while I held him close to me.

"I just put it back where I found it," Richard mumbled.

"Why were you even in my sock drawer?" I asked.

"I did laundry while you were gone," he said and sat his chin back on my chest.

"Such a good housewife," I cooed at him jokingly.

"Watch it," he warned sarcastically, "you'll become the househusband."

"We'll see," I smiled and tucked his hair behind his ear, "I love you."

"I love you too," he pressed his lips against mine, "thank you."

"For?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"Marrying me," he huffed, "you know how many people out there would love to have that privilege? Better looking, younger, smarter, funnier, and just overall superior people. Compared to me."

"Stop talking you're perfect," I mumbled and kissed his more playfully. He made a little yelp before pulling away.

"You're the best of them all anyways," I said, "if I wanted them I would've pursued them but they aren't as good as you." He didn't respond, he didn't know what to say. He was just smiling still.

"Exactly shut up and take my engagement," I said and kissed him with my hand around his back. I picked him up in one swift movement and he yelped again, his hair was super messy and I couldn't control myself. I ran him upstairs to our room, I dug the ring out of the drawer while holding him. I found it and slid it on his finger, I proceeded to lay him on the bed.

"I want to see you in nothing but that ring," I growled at him and he smiled.

...

"You did what?" Jensen practically screamed through the phone, I pulled it from my ear a little and laughed.
