Chapter 6

Jasmine

It's one in the morning and Eric still hasn't come home , he said that he was suppose to go have dinner with some coworkers but that was at ten.

I've tried calling and sending him messages, I'm worried something bad happened to him while he's out. The bed room door opens and Eric walks in or I should say stumble in trying to obtain his balance.

"Eric where have you been? Are you okay?" I quickly rush to his side to help him steady and get undressed for bed.

"Eric?" I say once again but he doesn't respond , he stares off into the distance.

"Eric please talk to me what's wrong?" I ask worriedly.

"I love you so much baby you know that right?"

"Of course I know that , I love you to Eric"

"Jasmine I-"

"Shh lets go to sleep Eric come on" I grab his shoulders and pulls him down until he was laid under me, I run my fingers through his hair and he calms down.

"I love you so much jasmine"

"I love you to Eric"

After last night Eric has been a very loving mood I don't know why exactly but it felt good being under him and having him saying sweet things to me.

"So tonight we're going to a banquet with a few other companies that my father are in partner with"

"What about Eli?"

"Well can your mom watch after him for the night" He ask hopefully, I know my parents wouldn't mind having Elijah for s night or two.

He barely sees them but he's smart enough to remember who they are , I'm hesitant at first because after they kicked me out when I was sixteen and pregnant I just thought I failed them. I couldn't give up Elijah though he was my world before he even knew he was.

"I'll ask and see"

"And I have a surprise for you"

"What is it?"

"You'll have to wait and see tonight baby" he wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my temple. I love this feeling when he wraps his arms around me , I feel safe and secure.

"Mommy!"

"Yes Eli"

"Come here plwease" I smile and deranged from Eric's arms to check and see what's up with my little man.

My mom agreed to watch him and came earlier to swoop him up, he was so happy to see my mom and dad that he forgot all about me and his dad. He barely even gave us a goodbye kiss before he was skipping off with my mom.

"So what's the surprise"

"Oh I said I'll give it to you didn't I?" I smile and slap his arm playfully, he laughs before going off into his walk in closet that's separate from mine and comes back out with a bag.

I go to grab it from him but he gives me a pointed look so I place my hands back where they laid on my lap. He smiles and kisses my temple.

"Your so obedient baby" he coos , I smile and look up at him I love pleasing him.

"Start getting ready and I'll give you it later" I nod my head and jump from my seat on the bed and start for the shower.

I make sure to shampoo and condition my hair so that when I curl it it'll look so pretty and shinny. I go back into the room and start with light make up , I put on two coats of mascara to make my blue eye stand out more and a matte red lipstick. It looks so pretty and plain but I guess I could go for a little more, I decided to add a little highlighter to enhance my look.

"You look beautiful baby" I smile and look at him through my vanity mirror.

"Thank you" I say blushing lightly at his intense gaze on me.

He looked so handsome in his tuxedo I couldn't help but to roam my eyes over his body.

"I think it's time for your surprise now"

"But I'm not even dressed yet"

"It's okay baby" he smiles and pulls the bag In front of me I don't hesitate to dig in and see what it is.

My eyes laid upon the most beautiful dress I've ever seen, it was long and shinny in a way but without a doubt gorgeous.

"Hurry baby I want to see you wear it" I kiss his cheek before hurrying to put in on.

As I leave for the bathroom Eric stops me and told me to change in front of him. I did as he told me but I couldn't help the blush that took over my face, I've had a child from this men but I will blush every time his eyes roam my naked body.

The dress fit perfect around my curves I could tell Eric liked it on me also , his eyes never left from me they held so much lust and love.

"You don't think its to much?" I ask him running my hands over my dress.

"Not at all baby" he says taking my hand in his as we walked out of the house.

When we arrive I could see so many cars parked outside of a mansion looking home where the banquet is held.

Waking hand in hand I could see the big grin that lays on Eric's face as he admires me and greets a couple of men who walk our way. They also look me up and down in shock , I've never met his business partners but I guess they were nice.

When we make it inside the house I stood there terrified. Everyone was either in white or black nothing else but me being in this red dress I stood out , some people gave me glares and some gave me lust filled eyes.

"Eric!" I whisper yell to him , I hate being the center of attention.

"Yes baby"

"Why didn't you tell me it was only white and black I don't fit in!" I hid behind him as more people eyes land on me.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me so that I faced him instead of the others. He looked in my eyes that told me that he was serious.

"I didn't want you fitting in with them because you should stand out and let everyone see how beautiful you are , my baby and all mine" he kissed me passionately while holding my waist closer to him , I relaxed in his arms and kissed him back .

He pulled away and smiled at me. Oh how his smile was beautiful I smiled right back at him.

"Now let's enjoy the party I want to introduce you to some people but if you feel uncomfortable I want you I tell me so that we can leave okay?" I nod my head and take his hand that awaited me.

I take a deep breath and ignore all the stares that we were getting and payed attention to the incredible man next to me. He was so amazing I couldn't help but relax.
