Silence - Mashmello ft Khalid.
"Yeah, I'd rather be a lover than a fighter
'Cause all my life, I've been fighting
Never felt a feeling of comfort
All this time, I've been hiding. . ."The students of Westlake High school were dispersing to their various morning lessons on a rainy Monday morning while Sabrina rushed in with soaked shoes and joined the crowd to find her way to her first lesson. She was sure Alex whose locker was right beside hers would've picked out her book and taken it to class with her so she didn't mind dropping by her locker, besides there was no time for that. She was never late to Mr Ben's class and she was the only one who didn't sleep through it, not because it wasn't boring as hell but just so she could get notes for her and Alex to read for his exams and mostly for impromptu tests. Prue hadn't taken this class because she said boredom was toxic to her health and that her best friends would ask her to remedy their poisonous souls when they realised that, but she would bill them hundreds of dollars before helping either of them. Truth be told, Prue was just more interested in arts and design, she just had a weird way of admitting it.
"Psst, psssst" Alex tried to holler at Sabrina who just walked in.
"over here" she whispered again after she'd finally gotten her friend's attention.
"I'm freezing, how are you? " Sabrina rubbed her palms together roughly after taking a seat beside Alex.
"You overwork yourself, girl. I've got a mint somewhere and don't ask me how I'm doing, care for yourself, would ya? " Alex said rummaging through her bag pack.
"I'm fine, I'm fine. I just wanted to cover up for the shift I missed" Sabrina pulled her hair into a messy bun and took her books from Alex.
" here, now be quiet. Everyone's already falling asleep, Bruh's gonna realise we're chatting away " Alex handed her a mint.
" Thank you. Yeah, the cycle continues." She pulls out her pen to begin taking notes.

" Y'all look dead. Science is treating my girls fine I see" Prue laughs and pulls out a chair at their cafeteria table.
" shhhhh. Who's he? " Alex ignores Prue's comment and fixes her eyes on two guys at the farthest corner of the cafeteria.
" Holy Molly, damn." Prue practically fans herself leaving her lips apart.
"call the fire department, that's some fine ass boy" Alex continues drooling.
" Rina, what d'yu think? " Prue asks with a naughty grin.
" they're okay, I guess. " She replies absent mindedly and keeps scribbling words in the book before her.
" Keep being this gay, and you'll not have a marriage invitation to withhold from me" Prue grabs a toast and helps herself .
" Let her be Prue. Noah's sitting with the new guy though, we could just get him to talk when we're walking home together " Alex forks her pasta still staring at the guy.
" My accounts are looking sick, I need a boost somehow. " Sabrina groans dropping her pen lazily.
"Yeah, so do you. You're like obsessed with catering for everyone and everything and you're just a teenager. " Prue says trying to take the fruits in front of Sabrina for herself.
" I saw you Prue. And I'm saving for college, when I get in I'll drop all of this " She lied.
"Talk to your girl, Alex. I'm busy with my meal. Can I have yours too? " Prue said with a mouthful and a cheeky grin.
