Vitamin C - Friends forever.
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us 'round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town

The window blinds swayed in response to the wind, and sunlight stole it's way into Sabrina's room, the rays threatening to blind her as she stretched lazily, yawning sleepily. She sat up in her bed moments later itching her hair frantically before she finally got up and went into the shower. Once she was out of the shower, her senses were more alert and most of the intentions she'd nursed to return to bed were forgotten. It had never been a thing for her to waste time getting ready like other girls would have it, she easily found a Jean and turtle neck sweater to go with her flats, she fixed her hair and put on light makeup not because she couldn't do without it but because Alex and Prue would drag her into the toilet and give her a makeover where she'd either end up looking like a clown or bride, and neither of them was her preference for an ordinary school day. In no time she was down the stairs, making sure she was as quiet as possible in the process because her sisters wouldn't be getting up until an hour later, but she had a morning shift at McCormick and Shmick's. She would've preferred night shifts, since they paid more but her dad would never  let her stay out that late, besides he didn't know she had that job.

"Morning Margaret" She chimed happily, the lovely scent of pastries filling her nostrils.

"Morning Sabby. Have your meal " she smiled; the kind that lit a room, and gestured for Sabrina to take a seat at the dining table.

"Would love to, but I'm running late " she whispered as though her dad would have heard way upstairs in his room.

" Packed you something, with extras for Lexy  and P" She had a way with pet names for everyone.

" Very thoughtful of you, I'm sure we'll love 'em" Sabrina grinned fitting the brown bag with snacks in her school bag and grabbing a coat off the rack.

" Oh, you flatter me" Margaret chuckled. Her kindness and genuine nature gleamed in her eyes as she did so.

" Uhm, Sabrina. I'd like a moment" Brittany had come down the stairs so quietly, Margaret almost flew out of her skin on hearing her voice.

Brittany had woken up to get ready earlier than normal, just so she'd meet Sabrina who had been avoiding her for the past three days since their row. Sabrina would leave before anyone else woke up, and returned tired in the evening, ignoring everyone who'd knock on her door with the excuse that she was exhausted and studying or tired and asleep. But Brittany knew better than to believe her Shit load of excuses because Sabrina was never too tired for family dinner, the only quality time they spent with their dad each day and he'd still miss some of those diners working late , neither was she so busy that she'd refuse to help her with an assignment even if she was just using that as a means to talk to her. Today though, she over heard hers and Margaret's voice so she took a quick shower and came downstairs in her towel, or else she'd miss Sabrina, and it looked as though she would have if she hadn't come out this second, because Sabrina's hand was on the knob -"Deja Vu" she thought and cringed -  while her coat rested on her shoulder -  "the only shoulder she'd cried on since they lost mama" she thought again  while a graceful smile played on her lips, that made it seem as though she had not a single care in the world,  the kind of smile her mother had. She'd lied when she said she would never be like Mom, she was the exact replica of Mom, she was a doppelganger of her, she was even way stronger than their mother because she was so young and yet she was so hardworking and exceeded strength, independence and pure energy, something she'd never seen anyone possess. Her sister was a wall, around her loved ones, damn she was the only wall she could ever lean on and it wouldn't waver even one bit. As she saw her sister's puzzled expression directed her way, she realized she hadn't seen her sister since that day, she would only see the rear of her head when she ran up the stairs if she was in the sitting room when she arrived home, and she felt herself marvel at how beautiful her sister could become in a mere matter of days, a golden lock fell on both sides of her face making her look like art. If anything, all of the times she was mean to Sabrina was because she was jealous of everything she was that she wasn't, Sabrina was "everything" and that was enough to make her feel like less of a being when put side by side in comparison, but she would see pigs fly before ever admitting this.
