IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hello Everyone,

My name is Joan, and i am an African, a Nigerian to be precise. I'm also the author of this book that has been left on hold for two years lol, that's sick fr.

The year I began writing this book, writing was EVERYTHING to me. I had such a carefree spirit and the only thing I believed in was my dreams, even the littlest most insignificant ones, I believed in them and I acted on them.

I gave up pretty easily though, got easily distracted and upset by little failures, little obstacles. I still love writing now but I never let myself put down my imaginations and feelings on paper anymore.

But, I made the a friend last year that I wish God had brought my way earlier. His name is "Nifemi" !! He thought me that every dream is worth fighting for, every effort counts, and your happiness doesn't come if you let yourself go and give up easily.

I'm overly emotional so I won't build this notice on why I stopped writing or the reasons why I will be continuing this story. So many times I've wanted to delete the entire book, but because its a part of me I want to always remember and hold on to, I dared not.

Over to important matters my babies:) !!

First of all!! Thank you so much for exactly 539 reads!!:) you're all so so amazing I promise you that even though its little it made my heart throb erratically to know that that number of people were interested enough to check out my book, thank you so much!! I hope those reads increase as I continue.

Secondly, as I've earlier implied... I will be continuing this book, yayyyy!!! And while putting up new chapters I will be editing the old ones lol, I read them and I mentally cringed y'all. I will have to make several changes, and I apologize to those that had to read my bad jokes and cheesy remarks. Its weird that I wrote the sad chapters better than the fun ones, I guess I really have to fix the state of my mind lol.

Thirdly, I will be changing the Book tittle from "Sri Lanka" to "Love and Light" !! My Nigerians in the house would know where that comes from lol, I'm a Joeboy fanatic and that line of his just happens to suit what I would love to express using this book. I hope I pass the message I intend to pass across clearly. I will also be changing the cover of the book as well, much needed lol.

Fourthly, I'm sorry for how I switch between third place and first person narratives. I will now be using first person narratives only, thank youuu for sticking with me!!

And Lastly, I apologize for the pause and I'm eternally grateful to the people that pushed me to write again, my dreams are alive again because of you.
