Chapter 23: What happened?

Dallas
I woke up and saw Lexi wasn't beside me. I got up and went down stairs hoping to see Lexi but I saw Buck instead.

"Buck, where'd Lexi go?" I asked.

"You cheated on her Dal. How am I supposed to know?" he asked.

I ran out of Bucks and to Lexi's place. I knocked and Amber opened the door confused.

"It was opened" she said.

"I know" I said and walked inside.

She went upstairs while I started pacing. Soon O came in confused.

"You know Sandys back" she said and I nodded.

"Should we tell her?" I asked and she came down.

O started asking where she's going and whatever. I wasn't really listening. I felt like I should've gotten something for her so I left the house. I went to the jewlrey place and they suddenly got scared.

"W-What are you s-searching for?" she asked.

"If you're wondering I'm not gonna hurt you. I just need like a necklace or a bracelet or whatever" I said.

"What do you have in mind?" she asked.

"Something for my girlfriend. I pissed her off" I said.

"Oh, I have the perfect thing for her" she said.

She went to the back and came out with a dog tag necklace with one that says something about angel and one about cowboys. I was gonna tell her no when I thought about something. I call her Angel and she calls me Texas.

"Thats perfect. How much" I asked.

"You're not gonna steal it?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

"Just tell me" I said.

"Normally it's $50 but I'll give it to you $25" she said.

"Thank you" I said.

"Its only cause I can tell how much she means to you" she said.

I payed for it for once and went back to her place. When I opened the door I saw Lexi on the couch watching tv and crying. I grabbed a tissue box from the counter and sat down next to her. I handed her a tissue and she smiled.

"Thanks" she said. I don't think she realizes it's me.

"Lexi" I said.

She stopped and turned to me.

"Go away" she said.

"Lexi" I said.

"I SAID GO AWAY!" she yelled and I got up quickly. I set the bag on the table by the door and walked out. I hoped she sees it.

Lexi
After I kicked Dallas out I went back to the Tv. I started crying but what he didn't know is that the show didn't make me cry it made me think of him which made me cry. I decided to lock the door so he couldn't come in. I got up and locked the door when I saw a bag on the table.

For Lexi

It read. I wanted to open it but I didn't feel like it. I picked it up and put it in my room. I was alone. I could've hurt myself here and now but I knew I shouldn't. I sat on my bed crying more. hours later I've had enough. I grabbed the scissors and cut my wrists...again.

Dallas
I went to the Curtis place hoping to talk to Johnny. I saw him sitting on the couch with Two watching Mickey Mouse.

"Johnny can I talk to you?" I asked and he got up.

"What is it Dal?" he asked.

"Remember Cherry the Soc..." I said and he nodded.

"I cheated on Lexi with her..." I said.

"Damn it Dal. Why?" he asked.

"I was drunk. I didn't mean to" I said.

"Dally that's not an excuse. You can't blame the alcohol" he said.

"I know Johnny...I know" I said and started to cry but held it back.

"You love her don't you?" he asked and I nodded.

"You know. You're still tuff to me if you cry right now. I don't care" he said and I nodded. I had enough so I let it out. It was a quite cry but I cried. He hugged me and once I calmed down we watched Tv together. Me, him, and Two.

Lexi
I sat there...staring at my arms. I promised him and I broke that promise. Like he broke my heart. I sat there until I heard a knock. I went downstairs and looked through the window to see Bell. I opened the door and he smiled.

"Dal isn't at the Curtis place. Wanna talk?" he asked and I nodded.

I grabbed my jacket to cover arms and we went to the Curtis place. We sat and talked when Johnny came up to me.

"Hey Lexi. Can I talk to you?" he asked.

"Of course" I said getting up.

We walked outside and he looked at me.

"I'm sorry bout Dal. He can be an idiot sometimes. He loves you though and means it too" he said and I nodded.

He looked at me curiously.

"Its hot out. Why are you wearing a jacket?" he asked.

"Cold" I said.

He nodded but quickly grabbed my arms and moved my sleeve. Once he saw the cuts he shook his head. He looked down and rolled up his sleeves.

"Parents beat me. I couldn't take it one day. You should stop though. Dallas didn't mean it and you know it. I'm not saying to forgive him just stop okay?" he said and I nodded.

I rolled down my sleeves and we went inside talking with everyone else.

Dallas
I went to Lexi's place and saw no one home. I went upstairs and Lexi was gone. Soon the door opened and I knew it was O.

"HEY O, SHOULD WE TELL AMBER ABOUT S-" I started but was cut off by a loud slam.

Amber was on the floor crying. O ran over to her and I caught up.

"Who do I have to kill" I asked.

"A where's your ring?" O asked.

Amber just kept shaking her head. After she told us the story there was a knock at the door.

"PLEASE AMBER LET ME IN! IT ISN'T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" Soda yelled.

He kept yelling for her. I knew he loved her but what he did was terrible...like I did to Lexi. Once he left Amber ran upstairs and O followed.

I sat down and the door opened. I saw Lexi and the gang come in. They all sat on the couch but there wasn't enough room so I sat on the floor so Lexi could be on the couch.

"You don't have to do that Dallas" she said.

"I know" I said.

We sat there in silence when Amber and O came running downstairs with some news.

"We're leaving" they said.

"Where?" Lexi asked.

"Home" Amber said and everyone gasped.

"We're leaving tonight" Amber said and we all nodded.

After a while Amber and O left. It was just me, Lexi, and the gang. We sat there in silence and slowly everyone started leaving. Lexi got up but then I pushed her back down as I got up and left the house. Right back to Bucks.
