I Will Protect You

Raya POV (3)

When the bell rang for P.E. I smirked and went to her desk waiting to follow her to where P.E. is held here.

"You know what we're suppose to do. I don't. Lead the way tiny." I smirk knowing full well she hates me reminding her of her height. She growls pouting at me. She stands and walks to the dressing rooms with me close behind. We change quickly. Once changed we went out to the field. Teach was bouncing around like no other.

"Guess what class we're going to be playing HIDE AND SEEK TAG!" He yelled excitedly. What seriously! I get to actually participate in Hide and Seek tag! Usually I can't because everyone is scared of me. I start jumping up and down in excitement and jump on Bree's back wiggling around almost making her fall.

Sōsuke, the tall silver haired artist, was made it as everyone dispersed I notice bree worming her way in a different direction. Oh no you're not getting away that easily. I follow behind her quietly. She suddenly climbed up a tree. God damn weasel. I knew she would do that sooner or later. I hid behind a tree so she wouldn't know who I was. I look up and see she looked away. Looks like I have to go up there too. Knowing her she's gonna trap herself that just makes my job easier all I have to do is make sure she doesn't fall since we are pretty high. I start climbing the tree I was behind because I can get to hers through the branches. I was careful to not make sounds. Once level with her branch I crawl across to hers glad I don't weight too much. She is up against the trunk of the tree her front against another branch. Glad she learned from when we were children and she fell off making me catch her hand before she left arms reach. I broke a rib because of that. She's got herself cornered now. Will she ever learn. I climb up one more branch. I sit right above her hooking my legs securely on the branch before swinging down putting my upsidedown face right in front of hers my hair hanging loosely.

"Yo!" I say with a smile. She screamed and fell backwards "Shit!" I yell releasing my grip on the branch. I drop past the branch looping my legs around her rib cage locking my ankles in place, grabbing the next branch with the right hand at first, slamming us to a stop still high in the air my right hand slips a bit so I quickly grab the branch with my left hand as well steadying us. There is a steadily growing pain in my hands. I feel arms wrapped around my torso holding on tightly. "Hey Bree you alright?" I ask calmly looking down at her seeing her face buried into my stomach. She nods but doesn't move other than that. I let out a relived sigh.

"Alright I'm gonna pull us up ok?" I speak softly and she nods again. I pull myself up at a really odd angle because she was latched on at my stomach. Soon we were both on the branch. She glared at me and I smiled innocently in return.

"Thank you." she finally said after a while in a soft tone.

"No probs! It was my fault anyway. Plus I'm not gonna let you get hurt like that." I smile a cheeky smile while nonchalantly hiding my bleeding hands.
She glared at me again but then smiled. There was rustling noises coming this way so we instantly froze. Breathing and all. We saw Sōsuke under us looking around. I noticed it would be easy to get down quickly. I pointed out our escape route to Bree she nodded and in sync we jumped up and jumped from branch to branch till we got to the ground we then sprinted back to the field and got to the base right before he could catch up with what was going on. I was laughing hysterically because I was running backwards the instant we were out of the woods. It was funny watching him trip over himself trying to catch up. Once in base I stuck my tongue out at him. Bree smacks my back causing me to stumble forward just outside the base line. Then I feel a touch on my shoulder I glance up and he smirks.
"Tag." I look utterly shocked when I looked at Bree she had a smirk on her face then she burst out in laughter.
"BITCH!" I yell I soon joined her laughter.
