*Beep Beep Beep*
I groan as I reach for my phone to turn off the annoying alarm. As I wake up I look around for Raya. As I wake up more I realize she's not here. Furthermore I realize that I'm not at her house. I begrudgingly get up to start my day. Checking that I packed my homework back into my school bag, I set it and my clothes on my bed to change into after I get done cooking.
I head downstairs trying to be incredibly quiet so I don't wake my parents. My mother is extremely abusive and my father doesn't do anything to stop her in fact more often than not he takes her side on things. As I put on my apron I walk over to the pantry and pull out the needed ingredients. I walk back to the counter top and put the ingredients down before turning to the fridge. As I open it I see the meal prep I had done for both my mother and father. I grab out the rest of the ingredients shutting the fridge door.
I decided to make a full Japanese style breakfast since my father had gotten a promotion at his lumber company the day before.
As I start thinking about school I put the rice in the steamer and start prepping things for the miso soup. I glance at the time 2 hours before my father at the very least would get up 3 before I need to be at school if I end up being late. Checking the rice I finish making the Miso soup and start preparing the fish for the main corse. I get lost in thought trying to figure out how I wanna kill Koro-sensei today. I hear the rice cooker go off letting me know it's done. Checking the clock I realized I had 1.5 hours left. I quickly finish the fish and move on to the egg rolls.
Since my parents are in the room directly above the kitchen I can here every noise as I'm preparing things. I can hear slight movement but seeing as it's still pretty quiet it's more likely than not my father. I finish the egg rolls knowing I still have about 45 minutes before he comes downstairs. I decided to make steamed veggies as it's the quickest.
As I'm waiting for the veggies to start I quickly take a small portion and put them into two bento boxes one for me and one for Raya for lunch. As the steamed veggies were done I heard the door to my parents room open fuck I quickly put the veggies in the bento boxes and run to set the table hoping it's not my mother. As I finish setting the table I catch a glimpse of my father coming around the corner and here my mother behind him yelling something about money.
"fuck" I mutter under my breath thankfully I know this house well and they can't see me leave the kitchen and head up the stairs once they get to the dinning room and if I crouch they can't see me period. I wait until I hear the chairs pull out from under the table. Standing up I make sure that the lids are on the bento boxes tightly.
I run up the stairs and grab a drawstring bag I have in my room incase I need to make a quick get away I put the bento boxes in first then I put my uniform in the bag along with my phone and its charger since im not going to be here tonight. Grabbing a foldable ladder I hide in my closet. Opening the window I extend the ladder down. Once it's extended I climb down and move the ladder to start to reduce the it's size. I hide it in the extremely messy shed my mother never goes in and start to run to Raya's house.
About halfway to her house I have to stop running being to out of breath. I start playing around on my phone as I walk the very familiar path to her house. Before I know it I'm standing by the ladder she keeps by her window for me. I don't really want to climb the ladder but since I'm not dressed yet and I have to wake her up I'm sure, I start climbing. We decided that having a ladder would be the easiest way for me to get in the house if I needed to at nights I decide to spend the night at my mother and father's house. Since they lock the doors at night.
Climbing the ladder I used the crack in the window to open it enough to climb through and get everything through. Once I'm in her room I shut the window completely as she has a key to the house so we can get in later. I plug my charger into the outlet for later before walking far enough to get a running start and jumping on her.
"HEY BITCH WAKE THE FUCK UP" I halfway yell extremly excited. It was loud enough to wake her up but not loud enough to wake anyone else up. I roll off of her with barely any room to spare before she would have punched me in the face.
"What was that for?" She groans still mostly asleep.
"You start school again today" I say while getting up and going to my bag on the floor grabbing my uniform out of it.
"Fuck that's today I gotta get dressed." She gets up moving to her closet to grab her uniform and starts to get dressed.
She looks over at me "You probably should to seeing as your still in your pjs. Speaking of, why are you in your pjs still" She questions curiously.
"Working on that hun" I say as I start undressing to change into my uniform. I start with the skirt before moving to my white shirt and then put on my knee high tights and shoes.
"Well," I pause before reluctantly sighing and continuing knowing she'll keep asking "my parents got up so I didn't have time to get dressed."
"Is there something I need to know about kohai?" She questions me.
"Um no..." I try to put my tie on as best as I can before finally giving up and also being thankful for a change of topic.
"Hey can you help me I suck at tying ties" I feel dumb asking her for help but I can't really ask anyone else.
"Fine don't tell me I'll figure it out and we both know it" She responds
"No you won't now can you actually get dressed and then help me with my tie please" I question trying to figure out some way of getting out of the conversation. "Besides we still have the long walk to E Class and I don't wanna be late"
"Don't doubt me little one I've saved you once I'm not afraid to do it again" She says getting a super protective aura as she gets dressed.
"It's been more than once but you can't do anything if your behind bars now can you?" I sarcastically remark flopping on thr bed waiting on her to finish getting dressed.
Once we're dressed because I want to get there early enough to try and find koro to try killing him we have her sister drive us to school. Once we get to the main campus they make us stay for a few minutes while I was looking around to see if any of our classmates are around. I happened to spot Nagisa. I really like him but the girls in our class think that Jim and Karma would be cute together. Unfortunately I don't disagree despite Karma being an ass. So as part of the girls in out class have decided to try and push Karma and Nagisa into a relationship.
I guess I was staring to long because when I finally heard anything it was "So who exactly is the blueberry with the weird dye job your staring at" She half questioned half teased.
"His name is Nagisa Shiota and I'm going to tell you now thar his hair is natural and he is in fact a boy"
She looked dumbfounded by the fact that Nagisa was actually a guy. I mean I can't say I exactly blame her when I first found out it took me by surprise too.
"Your kidding right? Blueberry is a guy?" She says more like she thinks I'm lying to her.
"No I'm not and please don't make fun of him he's really sweet and he's super sensitive about it so please be nice to him." I stirnly state
"Do I have to? I'm gonna at least say one thing then you can pull me away or use the code words okay?" She states more like I don't have a choice
Knowing she's gonna do her thing anyway. I just accept the enviable and and decide to be a bit of a brat. "So uh exactly why are we friends again"
"Your so mean to me" She jokingly pouts
"I'm sorry?" I more question then actually apologize not sure what to actually do in this situation.
When we are finally allowed to head up to E Class I notice Nagisa ahead of us. I start to space thinking of the week ahead knowing full well that Raya wouldn't let me get hurt. I check the date on my phone and realize that at some point this week Karma is supposed to start as well. Dreading my week ahead due to the red headed ass starting again I slightly fall behind. I glance at Raya and have a small amount of hope that they will become friends and he'll be nicer to me at least. Once we finally teach the old campus we go inside to our classroom to look for Koro-sensei. Unfortunately I didn't see him so I ended up being early for no reason.
