Jin was surprised as to how many different characters Namjoon could fit into his personality. Must be all the traveling. He thought, resting his head on his hands and watching Namjoon order their food in the most charmingly fluent accent. He was eloquent and gentlemanly, fitting in well with the setting of the entire restaurant.

The more Jin looked around, the more relieved he was that Namjoon had bought them appropriate formal wear for the evening. Dimly lit and expensive-looking, was a good general description of the place in Jin's eyes. He saw the waiters huddled in a corner by one of the tables and figured that one of them would come to serve them soon. He picked up his menu and soon discovered that English wasn't a language he'd learned that well. Jin looked up at Namjoon helplessly only to find him smiling back and extending a hand for the menu.

"I know this place pretty well and I think I know what you'll like." His hand went up to meet that of the waitress's, handing her our dinner list and receiving a smaller selection of dessert and tea options. Namjoon set that to the side as he was talking to her, his hand creeping across the table to find Jin's when the waitress took too long in recording the order. She left a little after that and Namjoon was looking Jin's way again.

It didn't take a genius to know that Namjoon, who got hit on by everything that walks, was being pulled in by the servitor and her friendly attitude. Jin didn't mind, seeing as how he was the one holding Namjoon's hand. He smiled down at it, a cluster of their fingers fiddling against each other in the empty table, pooled around by a patterned cloth. Jin took his free hand and stroked the tiny little bundle, looking back up only to note in surprise.

"Your hands are really soft today."
"Today?" Confused, Namjoon leaned in and rested his arms on the table, holding Jin a bit better.
"Well, they're always soft, but today they're especially soft." He clarified again and continued to feel Namjoon's palm with his thumbs, holding onto it with both of his hands like a little child would.
"Why, thank you." He over-exaggerated the gentlemanly tone and his other hand soon joined the mix, drawing a defined smile on his face and doting it with the cutest dimple Jin had ever seen.

They spent the evening talking some more, and it was surprisingly refreshing since they hadn't had a long chat in too long. Jin's chest felt constricted and heavy, but he figured it was just a feeling of loss that was slowly recovering the more he talked to Namjoon.

"Your cough finally stopped." Namjoon joked, seeing as Jin was struggling with the cough for two weeks or so.
Jin smiled and faked a cough, saying "Oh, I really don't know about that." He coughed again and looked at Namjoon with wider eyes "You might have to keep taking care of me." Their smiles turned into soft giggles, which died down once the food was put on the table.

It was mouthwatering. They ate with such an open appetite that they both forgot how to breathe by the end of it all. Jin, who usually ate a lot more that he did, was full after finishing only half his food. It confused the hell out of Namjoon, but he really did order a lot of food. He brushed it off with a rather long burp and sunk back into his chair.

"Man that was a lot." Jin declared, also resting his back and letting his bloated belly rest openly. Namjoon hummed in agreement, the food almost sending him into a drowsy coma. "Someone's tired."
"Is it that obvious?" He said in a tired voice and suggested they go home. Well, he suggested Jin carried him home, but that was not going to happen.

The two men sat at the back of a cab that Jin successfully managed to navigate, in English. It dropped them off right at the gates of their hotel and Namjoon's wish came true when his sleepy legs were off the floor and tucked into Jin's waist. Jin piggybacked Namjoon all the way up the stairs, cursing at the out-of-order elevator with every step towards the sixth floor.

He threw Namjoon on a bed, almost falling on top of him and forcing the food right back out of his stomach. He cupped Jin's cheeks and thanked him with a peck on the lips, falling asleep not even two minutes later. Jin took it to heart to take Namjoon's uncomfortable shoes off and unbutton his shirt for a better sleep. He then tucked himself in, knowing perfectly well that tomorrow was a rush around another set of airports.

He struggled to fall asleep, because his chest still felt tight and heavy, but eventually he did. His eyes closed to the thought of their next destination- Greece.
