New tactics

Red POV 3 years later

I was in the garden training with Jack who had gotten his own invention from "Akamei" it allowed him to move at insane speed for a short time but he tends to vomit after using it too much.

"This time I'll beat you for sure Red!" Jack smiled before vanishing again.

I caught him in the corner of my eye and he was grabbed by Teal. "Y-your going to have t-to try h-harder!" Teal smiled before throwing him across the garden.

"Damn it! I might as well be fighting four people!" Jack hissed and charged at me before vanishing. Another downside to his gear is that if he was to hit me moving super fast he would snap his arm like a twig but it would have the same effect on whoever got punched so it was last resort...

Shugo was always on defence, he even got Mei to install a camera on his arm so he could see what we couldn't.
"Nice work Shugo!" I felt us be dragged back at the reaction of throwing Jack but only to be kicked in the face.

"Got ya!" Jack taunted grinning.

"Alright time to get you!" I smiled as I took off the arms and placed them by the tree. I charged at Jack at around ten meters a second before stopping and waiting for the right moment. Just as I suspected he reached for the switch for his gear, then time slowed down dramatically and he began to move behind me at seemingly normal speed but I grabbed him and slammed him down.
"Got you!" I taunted grinning.

"How!?" He asked in awe as I helped him up.

"I have mastered the Tachy Psyche and can use it almost whenever I want but its mentally taxing so I can't keep using it." I explained already feeling tired from using it.

"What does it actually do though?" Jack asked giving me a drink with a tired expression.

"It slows down the perception of time and that's why I could see you." I drank the whole bottle and sat with Jack after I put my "handy pack" on.

"If you had some dart guns you could be like the matrix!" Jack laughed tiredly and a few coughs.

"You sound like you haven't drank in weeks... Did I do something when I threw you?" I asked concern clear in my voice.

"I'm fine... Its just the gadget Akamei made for me tires me out..." Jack sighed before going in.

I then heard my phone go off beside me.

Akamei- get to the garage, you need to see this!
Spectrum- on my way

W-what could it b-be now?
'Maybe she finally found out how bad she sounds when she says babies instead of inventions?'
Perhaps she found out why we call them Akamei?
Maybe a new upgrade?
We continued to think of ideas until we got there.

"Red come here now!" Mei smiled excitedly dragging me in. "Put this on!" She then rammed a helmet into my hands that covered my eyes onto my face.

I put it on hesitant just I'm case it blew my head off.
"What does it do?" I asked sighing before getting an odd feeling of lightheadedness.

"Now take it off!" Akai beamed a huge smile as a familiar figure began to show in front of us.

"Teal?" I was shocked, they had managed to make Teal real, like physical real...

Teal ran over to me and hugged me which surprised me at first until I realised how she knew someone her entire life but never even felt their touch once, since you can't feel anything in the mind.

"Enjoy it while it lasts as we can only sustain her for an hour before, back she goes!" Akai sighed at Teal who was still hugging me. "We plan on making a fully sustained version but the kind of tech isn't quite available... Even this tech isn't technically "available"..."

"Umm, Teal?" I get the hug but now it was lasting a bit long.

"I don't want to let go..." Teal told me.

"Teal! You didn't stutter!" I smiled at her confidence.
"But why are you so clingy now?"

"I... Don't know h-how to w-walk... I'm not u-used to... Being in m-my own b-body... I d-don't have a s-sense of gravity and m-my legs f-feel a lot weaker t-then yours..." I could see Teals excitement through her personality and lack of ability to walk.

"Just take one step at a time..." I wrapped my arm around Teal and slowly began to walk with her. After the third attempt she could walk without me, very shakily but its progress.

Mei who was watching with popcorn came over and stood next to Teal. "You can tell she's from your mind! She's got a bigger chest then me!"

"I was actually the second personality! Right after he was taken when he was six! And I still had a b-big c-chest..." Teal became a blushing mess as she hid herself behind me.

"Bet you haven't noticed the lack of voices in your head!"
Akai cackled before Shugo and Gold appeared. "They're alive!" She then continued to cackle madly.

Gold collapsed to the floor and Shugo just walked normally like he was real the entire time.
Everyone just gawked at Shugo.

"What?" Not only was his voice deeper and he was even bigger he looked close to nothing like me, his face was wider and rougher while his hair was still the same brown as mine but it was short. In a way he looked like a bouncer.

"Help!" Gold was a little lankier than before but was closer to my height.
Akai leaded him to a chair he could sit at and get his bearings.

"So... Your all physical now... How does it feel?" Mei asked awkwardly.

"G-great!" Teal leaned up against me making me blush.

"Feels the same..." Shugo said apathetically taking a seat next to me.

"Its odd..." Gold groaned as he tried again to stand and fail.

"Its nice to not have to worry about having no privacy!" I sighed as my mind felt refreshed.

"While teamwork is still an option like this being together in his mind can make you just as formidable if not more in his body together. Using this with more developed equipment is definitely an option." Mei told/lectured us.
