Red POV

I was laying in bed, late at night, asleep but a repeating sound woke me up. What is that? I dragged myself out of bed towards my window which is where it was coming from. I looked down with tired eyes to see Mei and Akai, I was used to them disturbing me at even the worst of times but what I wasn't expecting was to see Pony waving to me. How does she know Akmei? Or at least where I live?

I was too tired to put anything on so I just jumped out the window with only my grey trousers on. I wasn't expecting it to take long so I ignored the cold and walked to them.

"What do you want now?" I asked plainly as I stepped into the light. Pony must have been embarrassed by seeing me shirtless because she looked shocked and turned away, Akai also looked a little embarrassed as she blushed a little but she didn't turn away.

"I wanted to see how far your body can go." Mei answered in her usual, evil tone. Mei was nice when you got used to her but she was shameless which tended to get annoying as she would do stuff like this... "Apparently you took down a large robot by yourself. This robot was designed to test even the best of quirks but you did it quirkless and weaponless which means you defied regular quirkless limitations and I want to know how."

"Can't this just wait?" I sighed exhausted from my training earlier. "And why is Pony here?" This seemed to get Pony's attention but she almost looked insulted.

"To the workshop!" Akai grinned as she dragged me to the workshop... Which was close to a mile away! I was dragged that far in the middle of the night because she couldn't wait until morning.

I sat down on a sofa in the workshop the second we arrived. I was exhausted and by the looks of it so was Pony... Especially since she sat on my lap!

"Umm... Pony?" I asked curious as to why she decided to sit in my lap. She tensed up when she realised what she had done. "... You gonna move?" I prodded further as she didn't move. She looked as if she was about to get up before she grinned evilly. Oh no... This is not the time for teasing...

"What's wrong Red? Don't you like it when I do this?... How about this?" She teased before pushing herself further onto me.

"No, now get off." I plainly ordered, I was tired and wasn't in the mood for playing.

"What ya gonna do!?" She giggled evilly before shuffling on me. This is odd for Pony... Then again I haven't known her for that long...

I sighed before picking her up and dropping her on the sofa before I walked over to Mei. "What do you want me to do?" I yawned as I leaned on a nearby table.

"First a blood test. Then if we can't find anything... Plan B." She shrugged as she put a large needle in my arm.
That better be clean.

"Plan B is?..." Pony asked, pouting from the sofa.

"Improvise." Akai answered from the corner of the room. That area I never went to as it was the chemistry section of the lab, in other words it was full of syringes, bio stuff and sometimes blood. While Mei was a steam punk, Akai was a freaky scientist who would really make some incredible stuff... Really it's odd that the one with a steam quirk isn't a steam punk.

"OK you can leave now if you want." Mei told me while tinkering with a large blade.

"Umm... As much as I would like to leave, I live like a mile away so... I'm gonna stay a while." I stretched as I told her.

"Alright, go and make yourself useful and put this on." Akai threw me some clothes as she typed away on a computer.

I went into one of the storage rooms to get changed. Must be nice to get just about everything you want... Akamei get so much stuff to work with...

The outfit was just a plain white shirt, jeans and white trainers but it was comfortable even if it did have a few oil stains on it.

"So... What are you working on?" I asked as I walked to Mei who was still tinkering with the blade.

"Making what I can with some scrap, see if its useful, then maybe sell it." Mei told me before picking up the new creation, a huge sword that the size made it seem more like a sharp sledge hammer.

"Can I try using it?" I blurted out without thinking.
Guess your awake now?
'Yep! And its time to have some fun!'

"Sure, I doubt you can because of the weight ratio." Mei explained moving from the blade.

I took a look at it with a grin, it had a wide blade with a cog pattern as the blade. I grabbed the handle and lifted it, Mei wasn't wrong about the weight, I may be strong but that doesn't matter when trying to lift something heavier then myself.
Mei was right this is to heavy to swing...
'That's what you think!'
I suddenly felt the blade be swung downwards, the swing itself wasn't to bad but when the blade kept moving after impact that's when I realised how dumb Gold really was.
I felt my body be lift up along with the sword as I adjusted myself to land upright, I hit the floor hard and it felt like being crushed when I pulled the handle that was over my shoulder down, making the blade swing to a position for me to hold it.
That was stupid Gold!
'No... That was awesome!'

"I guess using the high weight like that is a viable option." Akai nodded from her corner before continuing typing.

"How's the blood test progress?" I asked as I put the huge sword to one side with a huff.

"It's done." Akai said plainly as she printed off a sheet of paper with information. "Blood type... Unknown? And it doesn't even look like blood... Oh... I see... Yeah you basically have... NANO MACHINES!"

"Very funny... Give me that!" I took the paper off of Akai who was smirking. I took a long look at the paper myself,
Blood type, unknown. Iron percentage 60%, high. Plasma 60%, high.
"It says high as my iron and plasma percentage. That's usually a bad thing right?" I asked slightly worried.

"Well with the percentages there, you should really be dead... Or at least very unhealthy but for you it seems normal. I mean you have incredible strength, speed and you've been experimentally enhanced so perhaps its supposed to be like that." Akai suggested looking into a microscope with my blood there. "Sure looks like nano machines though, just look." She then moved away from the microscope for me to see.

I looked through and saw the usual odd shape of blood but also saw spider looking things on them as well.
"Weird..."
