Five days later...
This week has been the worst weeks in human history. After the incident with Greek goddess five days ago I had been extremely sick and bed ridden, couldn't sleep, eat, walk or do anything in general. I called the emergency services explaining to them how I had been feeling and I was in need of medical treatment as I'd been having extreme pain in my abdomen and I was pregnant. The man I spoke to told me it was perfectly fine to have pain during pregnancy if I'm not bleeding, and if the pain persist for more than 3 days I should visit my local hospital and a scan will be done to see what's going on. That being 3 days ago.
The pain has become even more unbearable today I decided I had to go to the hospital even though it's almost midnight. I'd called for a taxi and recently on my way there. After several minutes of sitting impatiently, the car finally came to a stop of a big building I quickly paid and hurry out walking slowly while crushing my stomach.
The receptionist noticed me right away and stood up concerns written on her face. I walk towards her my hand still placed on my abdomen gritting my teeth in pain.
"Sweetheart, are you alright?" Obviously not, what kind of question is that? Is she blind?
"No," I moaned, "I booked an appointment few minutes ago. I need to see a doctor right now, this instance." I groan.
"Sure, what's your name?"
"Cherry Amelia Pratt." She types hurriedly into the computers, her hands moving in full speed.
When she finally raised her head picking up some files, I sighed in relief.
"Fellow me please, I will take you to her," She walk to the elevator as I trialed behind. She quickly press the 5th floor as I entered and we waited for the doors to close, and soon after it did I sigh in relief again. I need medical attention, I need to know if my baby is alright? Or is this me having miscarriage?
The elevator came to a stop and she exits turning right, I followed suit looking at the department she's taken me in. She'd taken me to maternity ward, poster of mothers with newborns on the walls, some expecting mothers sitting outside on a chairs with their partners with them. Some rubbing their hands on the their backs and some handling food to them. I couldn't help feel jealous as I watch the scene before me my heart squeezing in knots. If only I had...
The receptionist knocked on a door after walking through several ones, and soon after a Japanese woman with long black hair in ponytails came out out wearing a doctors coat, telescope around her neck, her round face done in makeup. Upon seeing me, her face lift up in a gorgeous smile showing her beautiful sparkly teeth. So white.
"This is the patient you requested," the receptionist handed her a file.
"Thanks Hannah," the receptionist now I know as Hannah left not before smiling at me. "You must be Cherry," the doctor extended her hands smiling. I brought mine to hers and she held on for awhile "I'm Dr Asahi Hashimoto," I nod, "Please come in," she opened her door wide enough waiting for me to enter. I step inside and immediately went to sit down on chair opposite her desk. I looked around her room before landing them on her. Her room wasn't no different from any other doctors room I'd entered.
I watch as she wash her hands wiping them with paper towels turning to me and sitting down on her chair opposite mine.
"From your reports, it seems you called the emergency services few days ago, and I believe they told you to wait a few more days before coming," I nodded.
"Alright, can you tell me exactly how you are feeling?" She looked up at me.
"I really don't know, but I had been feeling exclusive pains in my lower abdomen for the last 5 days. I thought it'd go away but it's just becoming worse by the day," I moaned loudly when I felt another pain shot through my lower part.
