Blood. All I see is blood. So much blood. My kitchen floor covered with this thick liquid, not an empty inch spared. The entire floor, dining table, the sink, the walls curved in words we will be back in cold blood dripping down and this continued all the way up the stairs down the sitting room.

So much blood, the air polluted with it. I took a step backwards not liking the next thing I saw. Dead puppy's laid on the floor with their intestines and vital organs coming out. Oh my god. I didn't know when another ear piercing scream left my mouth, my hand immediately fleeing to my mouth in shock.

Before I could run out, two men rushed into the house my door banging against the wall on full force. They rush towards me but immediately paused, watching the horror behind me.

I recognise one straight away, the bald guy I met the other night before. Greg. The other guy I didn't know. He is fair skin but what shook me was the fact that he looked very young probably my age in comparison to Greg. He's hair was styled in a boyish way, the colours of his eyes dark green making his pink lips vibrant. His face strong with his cheekbones and jaw popping out, and for a boy this young, he's actually very toned with muscle shooting through his t-shirt.

"Shit, boss going to kill us," he turned to Greg.

"Are you alright?" Greg asked.

I stared at them, not saying a word or showing a sign that I'm actually breathing. I was too paralysed to show any signs, more so to talk.

"Hey, it's going to be alright," he continues rubbing his hands over his face, "Mason, call the boss. Tell him what happened," he instructed.

"Me?" He pointed to himself, "why me?" He grumbled, "you should do it," he handed his phone to Greg.

"Not now Mason, call him now or else you know what I would do," he said sternly, his eyes getting darker.

"Okay, okay," he raised his hands in a form of surrender, "not fair," he moaned walking outside.

Greg immediately came to my side, pulling his jacket and placing them on my shoulder. I didn't realised I was shaking, not from the cold though but the fear that paralysed me on the inside.

"You need to calm down okay, we will clean this mess up in no time," he reassures me but my mind wasn't really there.

When I didn't say anything, he stared at me observing me. At this moment, it's stares didn't bother me, I wasn't my own self, I was far away from here, it was just my body standing there, but my mind wasn't.

I couldn't help but recur what happened, my new home covered in dead puppy's blood. Innocent puppies killed in cold blood, on the floor with their organs and intestine coming out of them.

My heart fasten quickly in my chest in full pace, my legs moving on their own running outside, my hands to my mouth. I heard footsteps followed afterwards, but I didn't waste any time running to the field in my front garden and vomiting the only crackers I'd ate today. I made sure I vomited everything before the tear starts falling down.

I sat down on the field crying hysterically, my legs drawn to my chest, my face down my legs and my hair falling down my legs. I heard footsteps approaching me and was immediately pulled into a hug. I snuggled into him, holding onto his t-shirt.

Why kill those animals? They were innocent little creature who did nothing wrong or caused an offence. They were murdered against their free will.

I cried for them, for their innocence and for the painful death they had to go through. I cried for everything I never thought I would cry for. I held onto him tighter as if he'd run away.
