Ares? He's here amongst the audience. How come I haven't seen him until now. Not for long, our eyes locked, he was looking intensely at me, passionately, and a hint anger. Anger? I couldn't question because he smiles at me as I continue the song my our eyes still fix on each other.

I sang every piece looking into his beautiful eyes, and a new sense of warm shoot through me like the song was somehow met for us. His eyes darker even more making all the air in my lung died off. He utterly look breathtaking.

I end the song our eye still on each other. The loud round applauses of hand reminded me the song was done. I broke our eye contact and smile at them and bow, my heart warm at their kind gesture. This went on for a while, until I was pulled into a hug, I thought it was Tasha but realized she wasn't small. The bride has came upstage to hug me, her small frame almost reminded me of my little brother.
"Thank you so much" she wail into my chest. I was too shock to say anything. So I just held her there in my arms.
After a while, she pulled away looking at me. "Thank you Cherry. So so much."
"You know, for a bride, you such do cry a lot" she laughs while I lift my hand to wipe off her tear. "There, beautiful once more."
She smiles brightly showing me her white teeth's. "You're going to be an amazing mother." She look down to my pump, immediately I felt self conscious, as she continue, "you're....."
Its not like my colleagues haven't noticed. They have but nobody asked me anything expect for Tasha who was my friend. I told her everything, she cried and hugged me that day, saying she'd kick his ass if she sees him. I laugh it off and told her not to worry about it.
So why am I worried? Oh yes, Ares. This is the first time he's seeing me like this. And honestly I'm a little bit embarrassed.
"...... Kind, sweet, amazing" I look to the bride who was still talking. I haven't been paying attention.
"Thank you, don't worry about it." Food are now being set on the tables and shortly she left with his groom to their table.
I walk down to the back of the room, aware a particular eyes are on me. Ares. When Tasha pulled me into a hug. What's wrong with everyone pulling me today? In hugs or just want to talk to me.
"You're were amazing up there, the song was so emotional I cried" she fan her face. Dramatic much, "its official, you are singing at my wedding. You took everyone on a rollercoaster of emotions tonight and they will never forget this night." I smile at her.
"Thank you, but" I was cut off by many voices. Scott, Ray and Amanda started talking at once.
"Wow, I didn't know you can sing. Totally awesome" Ray smiles sheepishly.
"Damm, who gave you that voice? Man, cos only an angel do. I now see you as one babe" Scott winks at me. I flush smiling.
"Girlll, you were totally hot out there, you blow their brain off" she pulled her two fingers together forming a gun and blowing it with her mouth.
I laugh and flush at their compliments. "Thank you guys, I appreciate your kindness words," I smile brightly at them letting them know I really do appreciate those words.
Before they could continue, my manager interrupt.
"Scott you are needed in the kitchen," he look up to me, "well-done Cherry, that was incredible. You save the day," with that he left before I could thank him.
"You see, our hero. O hail the hero Cherry, for she has saved us all from this calamity," I laugh and slap her hand playfully, soon she joined me. We laugh for awhile before we went back to our duties.
I held the tray of food as I pass them from one table to another. In every table I dropped food in, there were one compliment after the other.
"Such nice voice you got there" said a man
"Pursue a career with that voice girl, you'd end up being the next big thing out there" a woman with a really nice hair said.
I was now at a table where Ares is currently sitting. As I place the food down, I can tell his eyes were on me but not on me. He was staring intensely at my pump which got me all flush up and embarrassed that I didn't know when I spill the food on his trouser. His eyes left me, and down to the liquid on his leg.
My hand quickly search for a napkin on the table, bending down to the floor and cleaning it fastly.
"I'm so sorry k," I breathe in, panic obvious on my voice. This must have cost a lot because it looks like the one my father wear to work.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to spill it, I was lost in thought and I carelessly spill in accident. I'm sorry, I didn't kn" I was cut off by him.
"It's okay Cherry. Nothing a washing machine can't do." I nod my head at him. I stood to get up but I couldn't. Ares sense my discomfort and help me stand to my feet.
I embarrassingly said "thank you" to him and made my way back into the kitchen.
The rest of the day went by fast and soon the wedding was over and I can finally rest and take a deep breathe.
I was so exhausted I could barely walk. We just finished cleaning the restaurant and most people were gone, it was just me, the cook who was in the kitchen clearing up and my manager in his office.
But here I was sitting and catching my breathe, is it funny? When I could be home few minutes ago.
Being pregnant isn't easy. Who said it was is a big LIE. The person might either be stupid or just incredibly delusional.
I pull my fat pregnant butt off the chair I was sitting and made my way to the staff room. I pull my coat off the hook and put it on. I lift my bag on my shoulder and made my way off the exit.
The cold immediately hit my face forgetting it was winter since I'd been in a warm cozy room. I was about to turn around the corner and make a walk home when a hand pull me close to themselves. Enough with the pulling already, I had enough of them today.
I look up to see who it was and I wasn't surprised. His scent fill in my nostril the moment he pulls me to him, the cinnamon spice of his scent making me crave from cinnamon buns urggg. Stupid pregnant hormones.
"Who's the father of the baby, Cherry?." I stare deeply into his eyes, in utter shock. Bewildered.
"Who?" He repeated, only this time he wasn't friendly, he said those word between close teeth, his eye getting angry and short temper like he needs the answers immediately.
