'I thought you forgot about me'

'Never'

Susan was in the age that she was supposed to be married. But she said no to every suitor who asked for her hand. And when the time passes, less suitors came until their where no more. Susan her siblings were worried about her. They wanted her to be happy.

'Su?' Lucy knocked on her sisters bedroom door. But she didn't answer. 'Susan?' Again the Valiant queen knocked on the wooden door. But it was quiet. Lucy yanked the door open. But Susan was no were to be seen. 'No' muttered Lucy and she started to run. Back to her brothers. 'Peter! Edmund!' Her brothers were sitting on their thrones, discussing Narnian business with their advisors. But when they heard their little sister scream their names, Peter and Edmund jumped from their thrones. Lucy burst through the doors. 'Susan is gone!' She yelled, tears streaming down her face. 'What?' Peter goes pale. 'How?'
'She is going to find him' Edmund says with grinding teeth. 'But...' Lucy stutters. 'He is dead, right Peter?' Peter looks into her big blue eyes, tears streaming. He signs. 'We never knew for sure. Maybe she has a lead on him..' Edmund looks at his siblings. 'Were are we waiting for? We have to help our sister!'

Susan was riding through the lantern woods. Closer and closer by the door that brought them to Narnia for the first time. And by the house of Mr. Tumnus. And that is she was going. Caspian was gone, dead they all thought so. But she never believed it. It wasn't possible, that he, the sea-farer king, chosen by the Great Lion himself, was dead.
The day before their wedding, Caspian disappeared. Susan and her siblings sought where-ever they could search. But it was like Caspian was disappeared from the earth itself. Susan felt the hot tears streaming over her face.
No. She had mourned. For years she thought that the man she loved more than live itself was dead. But now, two days ago, she had found a letter. A letter directed to her, written by Caspian. A bird had delivered the letter on her desk. her horse storms through the forest, and branches scraped her face. But she did not feel any pain.
Caspian, he was on her mind and her heart skipped a beat when she thought about him.
It could be a trap, but she had to try.
In the distance she could hear the trumpets and the thunder of horses on her tail. Susan signs. Her siblings discovered her absence and now they were trying to bring her back to the castle. And force her to marry someone. She knew why. Peter couldn't bear it to see her like this. Every day Caspian was gone Susan was becoming more distant to her siblings and her people.
And it was true, she died every day a little bit.
Piece by piece her heart crumbled into pieces, to be never whole again.
But know, after the letter, Susan felt a spark of hope grow inside her chest. The house of Tumnus is close, so she stops her brown horse.
Her horse was breathing heavy and neighs. Susan patted the flank. 'Good girl' she mutters and she jumps of her horse. She leaves beneath her feet are turning yellow, autumn is coming. Exactly one and a half years after Caspian disappeared. Susan breaths in deeply. She smooths her dark blue dress and pushes her long black hair back. She stands now before the door. Her hands are shaking when she opens it and she walks inside the small house. 'Caspian?' She whispers, trying to get her emotion under control. She hears footsteps coming her way and she turns, pulling her dagger from her belt. 'My queen' A hoarse voice trembles. He steps into the light. 'I thought you forgot about me' He stammers. Susan lets the dagger fall on the wooden floor. Tears spill from her eyes. 'Never' she cried. With one step he takes her in his arms. He also cries and she sees that he hasn't aged a day. The clopping of the horses and the trumpets are near now. Caspian smiles. 'I-' But she cuts him off with a kiss on his lips. 'Later' She whispers. She want to know everything, but not now.
He is back.
Her king, her love.
