I looked in your eyes
And it was like frozen time
Across the ballroom I advance
And ask you for a dance
Together our gazes lock
Until you hear the clock
You depart
And leave me with a sad heart
Until I see a trinket you left behind
And, for you, I set off to find
When I find you
Your cheeks have a lovely red hue
At the end of our story I get down on one knee
And I ask for your hand
So we may be together
Forever
And we'll never be far apart
Because you're the one who holds my heart
