the way you make me cry
I look away
and wipe the tears from my eyes
you used to look at me
like I hung the stars in the sky
now you look at me

and shot them all down
they flickered out and dropped
down from the heavens they hurled
and destroyed every bit of our world
fire and light brightening the night
while the stars had stopped twinkling
and the sun started fading away
soon there would be no more daylight
in our world or mine
and that's when the light had dropped from my eyes
and poured down my face
now all I do is cry
as you turn around
leave me to crumble in to dust
as the daylight slowly slips away
