New life

"Y/N, hurry up!" My best friends shout from the car parked in front of my apartment complex.

I run out the door. "I am coming." I shout back at the two and get in the car.

I live with my two best friends, Tessa and Joanne. They were two of the best people in the world.

"Finally!" Tessa says. She starts the car and drives through the busy streets of the city.

"Sorry. I overslept and it's only the first day of university." I say, pouting.

"Yah! Stop trying to act cute. It's cringy." Jo says and leans back against her seat in the front.

I smile to myself and keep my bag on the seat. I was wearing a blue blouse with a plaid skirt and blue ballerina flats.

I am so excited for the new life. Finally in university, I am hyped up for this. We three had recently moved to this city and had been here for week exploring the place.

"Are you guys interested in buying something from one of the shops? I went a few last day and the snacks are really cheap." Jo says as we look around.

"I am in for any kind as long as it is tasty." Tessa proclaims.

"I can never say no to food." I exclaim and look out the window. "Which shop are we going to?"

"That one looks cute. Stop the car!" Jo shouts.

We stop in front of a small bakery. It has brown decor and is adorable. Jo goes in and gets some things.

She rushes back and Tessa starts driving again. She hands me a small packet.

I open it and find a puff pastry inside. "Yummy." I exclaim as I bite into the delicious goodness.

Jo feeds Tessa before she eats hers. "That was TASTY." Jo says, finishing off the pastry.

"Tomorrow you are buying, Y/N!" Jo says looking towards me.

"Okay." I say, giggling.

"We are here idiots." Tessa says happily. I look at the entrance of the university. It is magnificent.

"To our new life, ladies." I joke as Tessa parks the car and we get off.

"Only Y/N will be excited to go back to school." Tessa says, rolling her eyes.

"I agree." Jo says. I smile cheesily at both of them and start walking towards the office. They come with me.

We go to the office and grab our time tables and head to our first class.

"Looks like all of us have mathematics together." I say as we walk through the grand corridors.

"Ugh. I hate maths." Tessa groans.

Jo and I laugh at her sad face. "I feel you." Joanne says.

We reach our class and walk in to a buzz of activities around the room. We decide to sit somewhere in the middle of the class and get three seats side by side.

We sit there and talk about our plans for the evening. Suddenly, a young guy, wearing a white dress shirt and black pants, walks into the room and asks everyone to be quiet.

"Good morning everyone! My name is Christopher Bang. I will be your maths professor for the course. Any questions?" He asks to the students.

He looks a little dorky but at the same time quite intelligent and serious. He has beautiful wavy hair and a cute smile. He looks extremely young.

I am pretty sure everyone in the class is hypnotised by his adorable smile.

A girl in the front seat raises her hand. "Yes, you." He gestured towards the girl.

"You seem rather young. How old are you?" She asks.

"I am twenty two. Graduated early, if you were curious." He says with his hundred watt smile. "Any other questions?"

No one replies. "Okay, then. I'll hand out your assignments' paper." He says and distributes pieces of paper with the various portions typed out.

As the paper passes down the row, I take one and continue passing.

"Shh. Y/N!" Tessa whispers from my left side. I look at her. "Stop eyeing him. He is a freaking professor." She whispers with a smirk.

I open my eyes wide and vigorously shake me head. "I wasn't checking him out." I whisper.

"Sure, you weren't." She says and returns her attention to the front of the class.

I shake my head and smile to myself. He is cute, what can I do about that? Aish!
