New neighbour

I bring my attention back to the class as the professor talks to us about the portions.

The whole day goes by in a jiffy and soon we are at our apartment, sitting around the TV, watching Hwarang. (It's a Kdrama.)

Tessa passes the pop corn to me. "There. Take a few and give me the rest." She says, not taking her eyes of Kim Taehyung.

"Aish! My hubby is so adorable." She says. Jo chuckles at the sight and gestures me to pass the popcorn.

I quickly grab a handful and give her the rest. We watch three episodes before someone knocks on the door.

"I'll go." I say as the fourth episode begins. I pick up my lazy body and go to the door in my shorts and hoodie.

I lazily unlock the door and look at the guy standing at the door accompanied by the landlady.

Wait, is that? It can't be. What is happening? I blink quickly and stare at the person.

"Hey dear! How are you?" The landlady greets me cheerfully. She is a jolly lady in her fifties.

"Hey Mrs.Kim! I am great." I say distractedly as I try to look away from the guy standing next to her.

"This is Mr.Bang. He is moving in next door. I thought it would be nice to introduce you guys. Where are the other girls?" She asks.

Oh no! If anyone interrupts Tessa's time with Kim Taehyung, they are dead. I don't want to be the reason of a massacre.

"They are actually out." I say with a smile. I close the door and step out of the apartment.

"Hey! Nice to meet you......" a spark of recognition is visible in his eyes. He extends his hand.

"Y/N, L/N Y/N." I smile and take his hand and shake it.

"Christopher Bang but you can call me Chan." He smiles his adorable, heart melting smile. His dimple on his right cheek is absolutely illegal.

The landlady suddenly gets a phone call and goes away with a wave, leaving us alone in the empty corridor.

"Ms.L/S, don't you study at Rosewood?" He asks, tilting his head slightly in the most adorable manner.

My heart can't handle all this cuteness. It's about to explode. I am trying my best not to squish his cheeks and not to call him squishy.

"Yes. Mr.Bang." I reply, looking at the floor to hide my expressions.

"Please call me Chan here." He says with a chuckle. I look up and my eyes lock with his.

"Okay, Chan. Call me Y/N, please!" I say, lost in those beautiful deep dark eyes.

"Yes, Y/N. So, I'll get going now. I have a lot of unpacking to do." He says, running his hand through his curly hair, sliding them back.

"Okay. Ask us if you need any help." I smile at him as he walks towards his door, waving at me. I wave back.

As soon as he closes his door, I jump up and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. What is he is so adorable? It's making me so crazy.

Calm down, Y/N! He is your professor. You can't say things like that. Calm thyself! (Did anyone catch that reference?)

I shake my head and open the door and run in. I jump on the couch and sit up.

"You will never guess what happened!" I shout happily.

"You met some cute guy?" Tessa says in an unentertained tone.

"How do you always know?" Jo asks Tessa with a shocked face.

"Well, right. I met a cute guy." I quickly put my hand over my mouth. No, he is not cute. HE IS NOT CUTE. "I mean, I met our new neighbour, guess who it is!"

"Who?" Jo asks enthusiastically.

"Mr.Bang, our maths professor." I shout.

"WHAT?!?" They both shout and sit straight. Tessa pauses the episode.

"This is a scandal waiting to happen." Jo says, leaning back against the couch.

"I am afraid Y/N is going to be a part of it." Tessa says with a knowing smile.

"Hey!" I say in a joking hurt voice. All three of us bust out laughing.

"Be careful, Y/N. You are the kind to fall for anyone and everyone." Jo says in a serious tone, a smile still brightly shining on her face.

She is right. I am very easy. I have to be careful. Aish! Chan, who asked you to be so adorable?
