Ragini was meticulously assisting Swara in getting ready for her engagement, but there was an unmistakable lack of joy in Swara's demeanor. Every time Ragini looked at Swara, she noticed the tension and sadness in her eyes.
"I can understand how you're feeling, Swara," Ragini said gently as she adjusted the final touches on Swara's attire. "But remember, marrying Rajat is a step toward moving on. It's a decision that will help both you and Sanskar move forward with your lives."
Swara remained silent, lost in her thoughts, struggling to reconcile her emotions with the reality of the situation.
Elsewhere, Sanskar was deep in his thoughts, standing alone in a corner when Kavita came up to him. She wrapped her arms around him from behind, trying to offer comfort.
"You're not ready yet?" Kavita asked, her voice a mix of concern and insistence.
Sanskar shrugged off her concern. "Why should I be?"
Kavita's tone was firm yet gentle. "Because today is Swara's engagement. It's important for you to be there, to show that you care."
Sanskar shook his head, clearly distressed. "I'm not in the mood to go."
Kavita's eyes softened with understanding but remained determined. "But Sanskar, Swara will feel hurt if you're not there. It's a significant day for her."
Sanskar's eyes filled with unshed tears as he grappled with his feelings. How can I bear to see Swara become someone else's? he thought, feeling a deep pang of heartache.
At Rajat's home, he was speaking animatedly to a photo of Swara, his voice filled with an unsettling mix of excitement and menace.
"You know, Swara, how thrilled I am that you're finally going to be mine," Rajat said, his eyes gleaming with a twisted satisfaction. "Not his. I promise you, if Sanskar even tries to come near you, I will make sure he pays for it. I swear it."
Rajat's laughter echoed with a hint of madness, a stark contrast to his otherwise calm demeanor.
Back at Swara's home, preparations for the engagement were in full swing. Ragini was busy with the decorations, while Laksh observed her, a thoughtful expression on his face.
A delivery boy arrived with a bouquet of flowers for Ragini. As Ragini examined the bouquet, Laksh noticed a letter that had fallen out. He picked it up and read it aloud, his eyes widening in surprise.
"Ragini, a beautiful flower for the beautiful lady... Your secret lover."
Ragini looked at the letter in shock, and her gaze met Laksh's, both of them stunned by the mysterious note.
As the evening progressed, Rajat's family arrived at Swara's home, and Sanskar, accompanied by Kavita, joined Laksh and Kavhil. Sanskar was distant, clearly preoccupied with his thoughts.
When Swara appeared with Ragini, Sanskar's gaze became intense, his eyes reddening as he looked at her.
Swara stood beside Rajat, her eyes occasionally darting towards Sanskar. Sanskar's attention remained locked on her, creating a charged atmosphere that did not go unnoticed by Kavita.
During the ring exchange ceremony, Swara and Rajat's hands met, but Swara's focus was clearly on Sanskar, who was equally absorbed in her. Kavita watched their interaction, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern.
After the ceremony, as guests congratulated the newly engaged couple, Kavita approached Swara with a smile.
"Congratulations, Swara. I'm very happy for you," Kavita said warmly.
Swara managed a smile, but her eyes were drawn to Sanskar. "Thank you, Kavita."
Sanskar extended his hand to Rajat and Swara. "Congratulations."
In that moment, Sanskar and Swara were momentarily lost in each other's eyes, creating a palpable tension that Rajat noticed with growing frustration.
Later, Rajat retreated to his room, his anger bubbling over. He began to throw objects around, his rage evident in every movement.
"Even though Swara is mine now, why does she still think about Sanskar?" Rajat fumed. "There's only one way to get rid of him for good." A sinister smile curled on his lips as he contemplated his next move.
In the midst of the post-engagement activities, Ragini approached Swara about the flowers she had received.
"I don't know who sent these," Ragini said, holding up the bouquet. "But it seems like they were meant for you."
Swara, with a playful tone, teased, "Oh, maybe he's a secret admirer."
Ragini, frustrated, groaned and walked away, leaving Swara and Laksh behind.
Laksh, curious, entered the conversation. "What's this about flowers?"
Swara, with a mischievous smile, said, "I thought they might be from you."
Laksh, puzzled, replied, "I didn't send those flowers."
Swara insisted, "Don't lie to me."
Laksh shook his head, "I'm not lying. I'm just as curious as you are about who sent them."
Both Swara and Laksh were lost in thought, trying to unravel the mystery behind the bouquet.
