Chapter 41

"Are you sure about this?" Pang ilan na tanong sa'kin ni Justus. 

Andito na kami nakaparada sa labas ng bahay ni Lance and they don't like the idea of me talking so seriously with Lance.

I sighed, "Guys, can you please stop overthinking?" Tumingin din ako sa likod. 

"Enjoy the road trip na lang kasi, maganda ba kotse ni Justus?" I asked out of the blue. 

"Latest Pajero ba naman ito! Oo naman!" Aisha said trying to change the topic too. Thanks! 

Napatingin ako sa mga lalake na seryoso ang mga tingin. 

Napawi naman ngiti ko. 

"Fine, we're letting you go. Basta we'll keep an eye. Doon lang kami sa bahay niyo mag sstay muna." Ryan said with hesitations.

I nodded, "Thanks." 

Lumabas na ako at sinundo na din ako ng mga guards doon. 

Pag pasok ko ng mansion nila nag tataka si Tita na andito ako. 

Mabilis siyang lumapit sa'kin. God, I missed her. 

"Z-Zea!" She held both of my hands. 

I smiled at her, "Tita." 

Napakurap pa siya but she smiled, "Y-You're here!" 

I nodded at her and giggled, "I am! Tita, where's Lance?" 

She looked at me with a confused look, "L-Lance? You're looking for Lance? Tama ba naririnig ko?" 

Unting unti ako tumango, "Yes po, we're going to talk about something very important." 

She smiled, "Kakauwi niya lang, he's in the office. Diretso ka lang." She let go of me. 

As I turn my back on her at nag simulang mag lakad, she shouted causing me to stop. 

"I'm glad you're back, Zea." Awe, Tita. 

I looked at her, "I will always be here, Tita. Call me. I'm just a call or a text away!" 

Umakyat na ako sa pangalawang palapag at kumatok sa pinakagitna na pinto.

Bumukas ito at bumalik muli ito sa upuan niya at may tinipa sa kanyang computer. 

Pumasok na din ako at umupo.

"We need to act as fast as possible." Iyon kaagad bungad niya sa'kin.

Kumunot noo ko. What?

"What do you mean, Mr. Hidalgo?" I asked formally. 

"He's doing something very big, and it's not safe for you and your family, Ms. Jules." He said straight in to my eyes

Why am I also left being speechless? Hindi ko alam pero nararamdaman ko na galit ako. 

I'm not easily mad. But, this triggers me a lot. 

Pinagsiklop ko ang mga daliri ko at pinatong yun sa tuhod ko. 

"What should we do?" I asked coldly. 

Hindi ko na kilala sarili ko, I was never like this. 

Lance looked at me for a minute before he spoke again. 

"Analie's dad invited your mom for a private meeting, and that's already self explanatory he's planning something." He carefully said.

"Mom agreed because they're best friends." I smiled. 

I'm smiling because I want to put an end to mom's best friend. He doesn't deserve to be here. 

"Look, Zea. I'm willing to risk my lif-" Umiling kaagad ako. 

"Don't give me that bullshit." Tumayo na ako 

I coldly looked at him, "Tandaan mo, nadamay ka lang kasi pumasok ka sa buhay namin. Nadamay ka lang, naiintindihan mo? Hindi mo karapatan iligtas pamilya ko kundi ako. Ako naman ang habol nun di ba? Kaming dalawa ng tatay ko. Kaya we'll do the plan but you'll never risk your life for the sake of us." Tumalikod na ako at lumabas. 

Bumaba na ako at wala na si tita doon. 

Diretso lang ako lumabas at nag lakad na sa bahay namin. 

Nakarating na ako sa gate at nadatnan ko na nag hihintay pala mga kaibigan ko. 

They all quickly looked at me, "Anong nangyari?" 

Umiling ako at ngumiti, "Ready ba kayong pumunta ng Maldives?" 

Nagulat sila sa tanong ko, "Anong ibig sabihin niyan? Kaagad? Hindi maari may mga trainings kami." Sabi ni Nathan. 

"It's time for us to unwind." I said with a smile. 

Mapalayo lang kayo, gagawin ko. Malapit na ang gulo. I can feel it and I can't risk losing any one.
