age: 15

harry was at lunch, enjoying his nutella sandwich while talking to his friend. occasionally he would look over at victoria's table, just to check up on her. the bullying has ended after anne, harry's mom, went to the school and reported the boys who were bullying victoria. joshua and his group had detention for two weeks, and daniel got kicked out of school. this made both victoria and harry, happy.

victoria was eating her salad and scrolling through her phone, looking through her twitter when she heard the sound of two seat being pulled out then in. her eyes darted up, only to meet the eyes of a girl her age. her eyes were a hazel color, surrounded by long lashes. it was obvious that she wore mascara, but victoria loved the way she did her makeup. it looked almost natural. her hair on the other hand, was a dark purple color.

"hi, my name is alice. this is my brother, ashton. we're new here." alice held her hand out, waiting for victoria to shake it. victoria has been trying her best to speak, which she has been doing, but only short sentences. it was a big change for her.

"hi, i'm victoria." victoria gave both siblings a smile. her eyes drifted towards alice's brother, ashton. his hair, unlike his sister's, was a light brown color. they had the same eyes, hazel. victoria's eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. both siblings looked so similar..

"we're twins." ashton spoke up, guessing that was what victoria was thinking about. victoria laughed lightly, wondering how she didn't think of that before. "yeah, i'm the normal one." his sister nudged him in the ribs with her elbow, rolling her eyes with a smile.

"no, he's the one that doesn't take risks, thank you very much." all three teenagers laughed. harry was watching them closely, a smile on his face as he witnessed his old best friend finally make new friends. harry has been waiting for this day for years. he hated to see victoria so lonely, so sad. maybe these kids can help her break out of her little shell and become whole again. as much as harry would love to be the one to do that, he knows he probably can't.

"what class do you have next?" ashton asked victoria, holding up his schedule he got from the main office. victoria knows all her classes by heart, just like every other student.

"chorus." ashton looked down at his schedule and smiled, silently cheering when he saw that he had that class also. he was hoping that he could get chorus, and was so happy that there was space for him.

victoria has always liked singing, so this school year she joined chorus. it was fun, and her teacher understood that victoria didn't like solos.

"me too." victoria nodded and smile. "maybe we can walk there together?" ashton offered.

"already trying to hook up with someone on your first day. shame on you, ash." alice teased, winking at her brother, who's cheeks were now a bright pink color. victoria giggled quietly into her hand. 'did i just giggle?' she thought to herself.

"i'm okay with that." wow, four words. victoria mentally patted herself on the back.

"maybe we can hang out after school, if your mom doesn't mind. my mom won't care and since it's friday, you can spend the night." alice told victoria at the end of lunch, a wide smile on her face. victoria's eyes went wide. she wasn't used to sleepovers. of course her mom won't care, but victoria was a bit nervous.

"i would love to." victoria said after a minute of thinking. alice's smile grew, being that she really loved talking to victoria. victoria thought alice was funny, and she also was very nice. plus, ashton.. hehe.
